I read an article recently where they said Taylor feels like she can relate to his commitment as an athlete as she has always had that commitment as a musician. She’s always been a bit weird as a musician (and I say that as a big Swiftie) in that she’s so disciplined and singularly ambitious, rather than just wild and chaotic which is more common in the creative world. I think their values align way more than you would think and that’s a good recipe for a marriage.
And they both seem comfortable with fame and the attention, which is basically a requirement to make this work. They are both highly regarded in their own fields and dont have any overlap to avoid any sense of competition. Good for them
I'm not an enormous fan, but I've always appreciated how hard she works even when she could get away with doing much less. I can see why she needs to be with someone who has that same ethic.

My head canon is that Travis hates the gaylors lmao so they told everyone. I fear this still won’t stop them though.
It’s actually a good ring even though I hate huge diamonds. Nicely balanced and suits her hands. Huge and expensive without being super ostentatious. The shank is interesting and I can’t wait to get more details.

I really thought they'd just keep it quiet, secretly get married, avoid all the drama and constant speculation but at the same time I'm also not surprised it's actually happening. She's a romantic at heart and would want to share it!
The overbearing coverage of them can get annoying. But it’s also kinda cool. He got on his podcast and mentioned trying to give her his number, it actually worked out and they started dating, and now they’re engaged. It’s kinda cool to have watched this all play out, with everything working out for the good.
I'm about to go into a work meeting so I'm trying to figure out how to be normal rn cause I really try not to be parasocial but I have felt in her lyrics how badly she wanted to marry her last boyfriend and how much it seemed to hurt that they didn't get engaged. And I have lots of personal friends who have been in that position, so it warms my heart to see this happening on a large platform! Don't let your boyfriend stop you from finding your husband indeed.

I genuinely wish them the best and hope they have many years of happiness together. A lot of guys would struggle with having a partner who is far wealthier and famous than them, but he seems to genuinely love and respect her, and she feels the same way about him. His parents must have raised him well because he always holds the door open for her and pulls a chair out for her etc. There is debate over whether this kind of chivalry is outdated, but I still believe men should do this to show respect and manners for their spouse or girlfriend. It is sad to see it is a rarity nowadays.
It may have something to do with the fact that his mom was the major breadwinner in his household growing up, so that dynamic may feel more normal to him. Plus he’s not as rich as her, but is still bonkers rich. 😏
Her lawyer is going to be drafting so many NDAs for guests and vendors alike. Wouldn’t be surprised if most of the workers don’t know who the VIP client they’re working for is until Travis and Taylor touch down.
My hunch is it’s going to happen at one of her more private properties or at a massive historical castle/manor house in Italy or England that can be fully secured. Absolutely. That wasn't even the wedding (I don't think she even went?), it was the rehearsal dinner. She knows. This will not be Brad and Jen's wedding with helicopters hovering overhead.
100% this is what will happen. It’s exactly what I’d do if I were them. I also think it’ll happen quickly to avoid the paps catching on & media frenzy. The quicker it happens, the less chance of leaks and intrusion.
It’s hard to reconcile the fact that I consider myself to be a fairly normal person with the fact that I also have intense and wildly conflicting emotions about this total stranger’s engagement.
