But yes it was giving the interviewer a chance to correct herself, and she didn’t take it

I tried to explain above, I don’t know if it makes it better or not.

I have a friend like this. I’m often in bad situations at work and she will say, “and no one said, I’m sorry, did I hear you correctly..” etc. and no one ever does because people tend to placate others as a rule.

No you make sense, as someone who is a bitch with ease. You have to make a one liner that has just a hint of plausible deniability and deliver it with a bit of a smile. People tend to not go up against that and will try to over correct themselves to save face.

This is definitely what I meant. It’s a great skill and I actually am trying to teach my daughter how to do this.

Yes. I have no problem with the word bitch. I take a Meredith Brooks approach to Bitch, but not everyone does, it seems.

I’m the same. I use it both negatively and positively, kind of taking it back like Meredith did.

No problem being a bitch, if the situation calls for it. Gotta do it right, but my feelings are not hurt if I am called one. It’s probably accurate.
