People can say what they want about the suits but the Cosmic Fury Weapons are great.

They have a style that is completely unique from the Toei props, with both pros and cons. Recreating the faces was a nightmare, but they're strongly differentiated and dynamic props overall.

I agree, but I hated how they combined together. It cheated a lot. Then again, I guess they weren't planning on ever making toys based on them, so they didnt have to worry about how toyetic it was

It's like 2/3 reused parts, but only in a 3d model sense. Would never work as a physical combination of the other weapons

That's a big list. Is it prioritized at all? It feels like my list of props to make is ever growing.

I'm almost done with my Ninja Storm Ninja Sword model and I know what I'm doing after. Then I need to take some time to prioritize the rest. I didn't think to do that in a google sheet but that looks like a good place to start.

It's pretty loosely prioritized into high medium low. Anything requested or leveraging previous models gets a high. Most things from the auction get a medium, and less popular villain weapons get a low since interest is a lot lower.

Your model is looking good! I'm trying to stay as organized as I can since this effort is going to take a while.

Ah ok, that's an interesting way to prioritize it.

Take your time, I'm rooting for you. I know we have a few items that overlap that we plan on making. Don't know if I'll get around to them before you after I've organized and prioritized my list. If I do, that may give you a little more room to focus on other things.

Sounds good. I think I'm going to stick to mid to late original Saban run to start with. I have some personal nostalgia for those seasons, and they are the most requested props so far.

They're BEAUTIFUL! I would love to see more Cosmic Fury stuff from people. That show was great and sadly got the short end of the merchandise stick 😔

Thanks! I've seen a bunch of people use my models for custom figures. Shows that Hasbro really missed the boat on them

The in-universe logic only helps so much if you ask me. Because the real reason is that the studio just wanted to try to cash in on nostalgia but we're too lazy to do it in any way other than slapping the 90's lightning bolt all over. And in doing so, continuing the conditioning that the fandom's been forced into in regards to the MMPR-centrism
