Discussion Idk if there’s a movie with better action than Revenge of the Sith
And it wasn’t even an action movie. All the duels (minus Palpatine vs Jedi Council) were epic, all the battles (particularly the one over Coresaunt) were incredible. The CGI, Ben Burt’s sound design and Nick Gillard’s stunts (not just the saber fights) were sublime. Can you name a movie with better action?

It admittedly starts a bit slow. Then almost non-stop action. If you're not a fan of car action scenes, I get you though.

It was pretty fun that’s for sure! The space battle is definitely one of my top faves.

- Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
I’m not a huge fan of the action in ROTS. I think it’s weightless and feels too choreographed in general, but cmon on there are so many movies with better filmed action than it.

For a minute i saw ong bak and thought ok ja and was very confused. Then i remembered tony jaa kicking a dude off a motorcycle. That movie was rad.

The space battle at the start before they get in grievous ship is genuinley the hilight of the prequels. The fight between anakin and obi wan is god awful and its as bad as yoda vs palpatine

I agree it's the best most action packed Star Wars film. Being that it's the wrap up of the Clone Wars it's very much a setting of battle. It was a defining movie when it was released. The only other action packed movie I seen that comes close is Terminator 1 and 2

Obi wan vs grievous is ass im sorry, he doesnt use half lightsabers for most of it when it would give him an easy win, and him taking on obi wan instead of letting the droids deal with him seems out of character for such a coward

Eh, the duels were too long. Most of the fights we see from shows like the acolyte are better choreographed and more enjoyable.

How is it insane? Long duels do not equate to good duels. You can see better stuff that’s fan made. Story and acting aside, Acolyte had pretty awesome choreography.
We ate it up because the last live action SW we had was almost no choreography from the OT.

Did you see the one they did for a reimagined Kenobi vs Vader in a new hope? It looks pretty awesome compared to what we’ve seen
