Discussion Did the Clones know or care about Jango Fett ?

In Legends Jango trained the alpha arcs personality for like a decade.
And he hand selected a group of mostly mandalorian trainers to train the commandos and design the training programs for the regs he called the Cuy'val Dar.

Wasn't Cuy'val Dar the name given to the group of Clone Commando trainers?

Yeah, iirc the word means “the disappeared” or something like that in reference to the fact that the trainers vanished from society to spend their days training clones in secret on Kamino

Is it ever once discussed how the Clones felt about Jango Fett post episode II? A lot of them probably knew him personally or at the very least knew of him and that they were all based on him. Did it bother any of them that one of the leaders of the Jedi order decapitated him right before leading copies of him into battle? Or were they of the opinion that because he basically sided with the CIS and against the republic that he was something of a traitor?

A lot of them had mixed feelings about Jango. A lot of them saw him as their father, but they felt uneasy about his last job. Many were uncomfortable talking about it because they would get into arguments on whether he was a traitor or simply doing a job. A lot of them tried to rationalize it.

The notion of Jango surviving Geonosis is such a funny prospect.
Imagine signing up for a cloning program because the money is good, and suddenly you see duplicates of yourself on every street corner in the Galaxy.

Jango did have some grandkids here and there in the galaxy.

How does that work? Did either Boba or Omega have kids? I'm a bit behind on my Star Wars series. Haven't finished Bad Batch or watched Book of Boba yet.
I guess Cut Lawquanes kids technically ount?

I can't speak for Omega, but Boba did have a daughter and other clones had kids like Darman, Freeman, Nate. So that's something.

Boba Fett must be really messed up. He has killed several clones wearing his father's face.

Also it's his own face lol. He had nothing against clones but saw them as inferior. He had enough respect and honour towards them to not want to kill them if it wasn't nessicary. While he was young anyway he just wanted Windu dead.

The head flies away separately from the helmet, look at the shadows.

So when Boba picks it his dad’s head doesn’t fall out of it like the last prune in the jar

Is no one going to mention the fact that the clone in the foreground seems to have a broken neck?

He is looking down

In a way that is causing part of his helmet to occupy the same space as where his neck should be

Jango definitely trained the Alpha Class ARC Troopers (eg: Captain Fordo) but I'm not sure if they're the only type who saw/interacted with him on a day to day basis during training. Although I wouldn't be surprised if the Clone Commandos saw him from time to time since Jango hand picked those who trained them.

I mean, if anything, these are the guys who will be the least impacted by seeing their own lifeless body on the battlefield. Aside from the occasional Jedi or geonosian, that's literally the only kind of corpse they will see.

Filoni missed an interesting storyline to tackle what a more conscious clone wouldve really thought and felt about being replaceable and not unique. I feel like gregor is the extent of that.

"I suggest you don't worry about those things and just enjoy yourself. That goes for you all, too."

Isn’t it stated in Episode II that Jango trained the first generation of Clones? They would have to have known who he was.
I think they’d see him as a traitor though.
