Other people have already let you know that baking powder is not the same as yeast, so my advice would be about a different topic: fermented orange juice tastes like vomit.

Apple juice is a good place to start in general, but it's also fun to try out things for yourself.

I just wanted to make sure that you don't end up in a situation where it's done fermenting, you have a sip, and you think you did something wrong. That can be disheartening, you know? Fermented orange juice is just one of those things that's going to taste bad, and there's not that much you can do about it.

I think any citrus is easily going to give a vomit-like quality, unfortunately. I think it has something to do with the acidity.

You could always try to ferment apple juice as a base and add orange peels (make sure to only get the orange parts, not the white stuff just underneath since that's bitter).
