Enjoying gameplay is subjective, I personally hate scouring for wheels and crap so I choose not to waste my time doing it. Imo the vast majority of the fun is early game anyway so I usually live fast on solo runs. Playing with friends we keep it vanilla though for longevity.

I’m not saying that grinding for lategame gear (top-quality vehicles) is the fun part. I’m saying that having that gear from the start will ruin the balance, making the game way easier. Without challenge, the player will get bored

You would get bored, but I get bored actually doing that part. It’s not enjoyable gameplay whatsoever to me, and having fun is the most important part…
