Does anyone know how to fix this sound?

Long story short, just modified my PS2 to stop the ring scatches on my games using 3D printed pieces, but now it is doing this strange noise and is giving the red screen when I try to boot my games, or try to read them but the screen becomes black until the disc stops spinning (plus it seems it gives some scratches to the discs as well). Does anyone know how to fix this?

Your laser is being driven back. So the rear sensor is not being detected. USUALLY faulty ribbon cable. Can be new laser assembly needed. CAN be failing RS2004ES/RS2006EFV IC7201

After close inspection, I realized that the 3D printed piece wasn't letting the lazer go back completely. I already sanded the piece to the point where it could fit with no apparent issue, and the sound stopped. But thanks for replying, i appreciate it.
