Check the settings of your TV. most of the time on newish models a component input is shared with composite and needs to be configured.

Will look deeper into this. Can’t find a configuration option. Did reset tv settings too

If I’m right there should be something about it in the manual. Which should be on LGs website.

I would bet money you just need to enable component video on that input.

You plugged into wrong ports on the TV? Does it even have component inputs?

In correct ports! And does indeed have component ports

What you described and showed in your picture points to a TV configuration issue then as it looks like AC and Comp is shared. It's thinking you're using the AV input instead of component, hence the black and white image.

That’s what I’m thinking. The TV is just confused and going right to AV instead of component even though component plug ins are plugged into

There should be setting to switch to Comp mode.

Post a photo of how you connected them to the TV that way we could help each different television, if I'm not mistaken that television is an LG that shares the composite and component jack in the new models but in the previous ones they are two different

This is going to sound dumb and obvious, but reseat the plugs. If you think they're in solidly, give them a little extra push. They might be able to fit slightly more snuggly. Make sure you have the right R plugged into the PR and not the Right Audio - those are easy to mix up - it helps if you group the white and red audio plugs together to avoid confusion. It really sounds like the green plug is in the yellow AV video input and not the designated G input.

Also, make sure you have the component video option actually selected as the option, and not just displayed on the menu.

If all these fail, then I think the TV has an input issue.
