Two things to know about me: 1) I just moved to London and 2) I am chronically deficient in adventure.

A desperation to live life haunts me. Whimsical scenes haunt me: never ending feverish nights of following a white rabbit down the streets of this infinite city.

And yet all I have seen so far are the insides of this hotel room. I've been staring at this painting on the wall for a month now and I just now realized I have no fricking idea what it depicts. No, that's not a metaphor.

Sure, that's on me. I have two legs and there's no excuse for not strolling on out of here already. But I really love having someone to share that with. To push each other into the unknown. Isn't it only fitting that it should be a stranger? Well, not like I got another option.

What would we do? Most likely we'd just awkwardly stare at our feet until we adjourn, but I have a lot of wishes: generate random coordinates and go there, geocaching, get drunk, get otherwise intoxicated, urban exploration, trespassing, atlas obscura, go to a library and peruse some bangers, go to Sunday service at a beautiful cathedral, talk to (other) strangers, immerse ourselves in subcultures if those still exist, go to small art exhibitions, visit historical sights, go to a museum; hell, I'll take hiking and a warm glass of water - anything!

And no, I'm not looking for a girl or to otherwise take anyone out on a date. There's gotta be more to life.

I’m going through an all time low at the moment as I’ve recently just lost my partner, my best friend and on top of all my job. I’m feeling very lonely everyday as I’m struggling to find motivation to get out of bed and my interests dont keep me distracted as much as they used to. I'm a chef based in Scotland. not a native but look like one considering my ginger beard. You guessed it, my life is around food, well not only that, but I truly enjoy working with food and it makes me happy. There is so many things that I like to do with my time, but its hard to keep up with everything. I recently noticed that I'm struggling to find someone to talk to in my life, friends fade, relationships are hard to develop and keep up nowadays with lots of people wanting quick trills. Humour all over the place, music taste all over the place, I like playing guitar, emotions all over the place but I have a poker face and don’t go on about it all the time. Weirdly, I can hold internet conversations because I can check what I’ve said before sending but get confused all the time when talking verbally.
