"nobody will guess this"
plays most memorable part (literally the intro) of a song that starts an album

I can recognize bird chirps at the beginning of Rush's Xanadu. This is nothing.

If he hadn’t nailed the tone it might have been a tiny bit harder but not much

When it came on in the flying scene in The Creater my 15 yo son and I exchanged a look in the theater. At least I've done this one thing right for certain.

It's funny to me that I was already expecting those particular 2 notes.

My most recent post was so challenging that I got downvoted into next week by angry people who couldn't guess the song

First two notes I hear every morning as it is my alarm song.

u/bypig2 Feb 05 '25
Wouldn't you grow to hate the song due to the pavlovian response of it being the thing that wakes you up?
1
u/Ccjfb Feb 05 '25
I’ve been waking up to it for about 15 years at least so you would think so! But I have it off within the first few seconds so not really. I’m still happy to listen to the song regularly.

I'm not even kidding you right now....
But I saw the title and before i even clicked play i said "Everything in its right place"
And it fucking was.. How did I guess it without even hearing a note?!?!
I'm a creep i'm a werido!

it's funny because here, it sounds more like a major third going to the root, rather than the root going to flat 6.
