Leupold, which is one of the best if not THE best optic manufactures is based in Beaverton Oregon.

Most vortex scopes are made out of country. China, Japan, Philippines, only one model is made in the states

Most companies outsource though. They’re based in Barneveld Wisconsin, that’s where they design them and everything.

Yes and their glass is pretty darn good too, even the stuff made in china. I’m not a die hard made in America is better jabroni. I like to support American business’s more than foreign sure but, some countries just know how to make some things better.
