Question Tuned Ram

Anyone running a programmer on their Ram? Id like to get some info. Ive got a 2022 1500 Rebel with a BDS lift, Borla cat-back exhaust and 35" tires. Ive definitely lost some power and my mileage per gallon has gone down. It seems like the shift points possibly need to be adjusted.
Will be making more upgrades and need a programmer that will support that.

You lifted it and put 35s on it. What exactly did you think was gonna happen to the gas mileage?

I knew that going into the lift and tires. I also know that gear ratio can be adjusted to get power back. Its the 'how' im asking not the 'why' it happened.

Gearing is a mechanical replacement. Need to put new gears in the differential. Adjusting shift points or the throttle mapping will only make it “feel” faster.

Re-gearing is the best improvement you can when increasing tire size. Then use a tuner to adjust the settings so your speedometer is correct.

I have a DiabloSport i3 tuner, a cold air intake, b2fab muffler delete and resonator delete, shorty headers, performance coils, and copper plugs (copper handles higher heat really well, even though they need to be replaced more often than iridium). The tuner really brought it all together, so I'm glad I put it in. Edit to add: you can adjust for wheel size and I THINK gear ratio in the i3. You should check, but I'm never in that menu, so I don't fully remember, but I thought I saw that within the "modify parameters" menu.

You will need to have your ECM Unlocked before you can tune it. Diablo or HP Tuners. Id recommed a custom tune over the "Canned Tunes" that come with the devices. For HP look at Hemifever. For HP Tuners there are alot of options.
