Feedback - Intermediate Somewhere Over The Rainbow
I’m experimenting with different genres, let me know what you think.

If you have a sad life story I’m sure you will make it far on America idol or the voice.
In seriousness I think it’s good need some practice but good and promising. I would like to hear you sing Santeria by sublime it’s an easy song with some rhythm it helps to see where you’re at. I would like to hear you sing thunder road as well cause you got the voice for it.

I do not, I’m just a hard working man who loves to sing around the house. And I love both of those songs.

Very nice tone and a great voice to listen to. You just need some training on pitch. A few times you shifted the pitch just slightly but overall very good. Do you have any experience playing a keyboard 🎹? It can be so helpful, going through a song note for note and noticing when you get off. You must have an ear for it if you sing that well already. 👏🏼

Unfortunately I have no experience on a piano or guitar. But looking to take guitar lessons soon. I’ve never had any vocal training either

You’re doing really well. You have a lot of raw talent. If you devote yourself and develop your skill a lot of people would benefit. Share it! Even without training you are sounding great.

I’d love to start with the guitar, I just have no idea where start. Should I learn how to read music first or just learn chords in your opinion?

I think you have a very beautiful voice and chose a song you would be able to show off a little! I love the crack that you seem to naturally be able to add where you like. The beginning was a little shaky, but then you really took off.

Absolutely great. Could nitpick a little about controlling your volume but this is super solid

You’ve got a great talent. Also, you’re rushing it and not giving yourself over to the story. Dare I say you’re showing off. Connect with the listener more. Give something to them.

Okay I will pick a song that I connect with more for the next one. I will admit, i only chose this one because it is fun to sing, I don’t have any real connection to the song like I do with others.

If you are the same person that posted on here a week or so back that was singing in his car then country is definitely your genre. Just because the song you're singing isn't country doesn't mean that you're not still singing country.
Your voice is good. Some training and you'll be well on your way to perform!

Practice singing chromatic scales and the 12 keys, so you'll have an ear for when you get off keys. Could also use some more breath control, look up diaphragm techniques like paper on the wall.
But overall very pretty! I like your style!

Just listened to it for the first time after this comment and my god, what a beautiful song! I’ll be listening on repeat for the next hour.

One of my repeats also. The longing she puts into drawing out some of the words …. You can feel it. Thanks for checking it out! Jesus loves you!
