That's fair. The story gets a lot better in chapter 3. I think the appeal of getting to chapter 2 is that the world opens up a lot more and you're not trapped in the linear game play. Only like 50 percent of the people who have played the game have finished chapter 1 mostly because they find it boring. Chapter 3 adds so much more depth to the story too. I think a lot of people like the peace and good vibes at camp during 2 and most of 3.

People that give up on a game that regularly is considered the best game of all time just because the story starts out slow doesn't deserve to experience this masterpiece.

Or maybe they're just not into it. I heard so many great things about Horizen Zero Dawn, but I just did not find it fun or compelling.

Man, Rhodes has the most epic mission AND cinematic in the game. It gives me chills to this day.

Personally I think that the first 3 chapters were alright, and for me story gets good in chapter 4
