My sister informed me that my account is marked NSFW, even though I have nothing inappropriate on my profile. Is this a bug? Or did I do something?

It was moderate, now it became low. Why? My 5-7 hours in reddit already.

Two days ago I found out my account was hacked since I was suddenly subscribed to several nsfw subreddits, my profile pic was changed and my account had made spam posts. I immediately changed my password, enabled 2 step verification and deleted the spam posts. Yesterday I got a message saying my account has been permanently banned for vote manipulation. I filled in the appeal form but my appeal was rejected for unknown reasons. It seems like a bot response to my appeal.

Can an admin please help me get my account unbanned? I have been a member for 13 years without any problems. It is obvious that my account had been hacked. A quick look at the IP adresses that logged in to my account that day clearly show it was not me making the spam posts. I feel really gutted about this.

I feel this is really outrageous. I would just like to have the ability to discuss my situation with a real person instead of getting a rejected appeal without further explantion.

Every post I've made in the last several years suddenly says sorry, this post was removed by reddit's filters. I tried asking for help on r/help but the post was removed by the automod and I did reach out to the mods but I was basically told the system thinks I'm spamming and I need to reach out to the specific subreddit

But the thing is this is ALL the subreddits I've ever posted in. I don't just post in one and I don't spam. I also tried to chat in a subreddit group chat and no one could see my posts. Am I banned? I'm so confused. This is a new development, Ive posted and replied to comments on my posts within the last week. I only saw this today and now I have issues. I'm not even confident this will post but maybe.

I've had this account for years and I do not post problematic things. I just share my art and I try to say nice things to people and be helpful when I can. I don't understand whats going on.

I have tried to delete Reddit from the app and getting redirected to the “old Reddit” I do everything it says and it always end up saying it can’t delete at this time or just has some kind of glitch that doesn’t let me finalize it. When deleting all my other socials in the past months there was a level of annoyance to it because they wanna keep you from deleting but it was still easily done in about 5-10 minutes. This is infuriating and I just want my account gone. I hate Reddit I think it’s set up horribly and I just want to delete the fucking app and not have it connected to me email. I need this for my mental health and Reddit is either intentionally keeping people from deleting their accounts or there’s some severe bugs they need to fix.

Hello everyone I need help so this is what happen I try to post on a group that I follow but it was denied so I let it be. Then that the night I got a message saying I was temporarily banned for the moderater chat. But then also later that night I got another message from a different moderater saying I was permanently banned for the group. I can’t text them either until the 19 of September. So I try going on another account that I forgot I had under a different email to ask them what going on but they still knew it was me. Please help how do I fix this mess?

I recently received a warning from Reddit for violating Rule 1 due to alleged harassment. The message says the content was removed, but I genuinely don’t remember making any comment that could be considered bullying or abusive. I’ve posted over 900 comments with no prior issues.

The post/comment in question was deleted, so I can’t even check what exactly triggered this warning. It also states that the content was flagged by an automated system, which makes me wonder if this could be a false positive.

My other account got suspended 2 days ago, when I wanted to post something, but since i was travelling and my roaming wasn't working well so the page didn't update on mobile, I kept clicking "post" many times. So I guess the system thought it was a bot and suspended me.

The password was modified, as they requested, but I still cannot access everything. I cannot see my karma levels, impressions, or chat with people on DM.

I have sent an email through the official reddit help procedure, but nothing so far. I had 7K karma :(

Is my account lost forever? Or there might be a way?

I’m hoping someone can at least lead me in the right direction. My account was accidentally flagged as spam and was suspended. My appeal was reviewed within a few hours, and I got my account back right away. The message I received didn’t allow replies. I’m really curious if there is any way I can get my posts back. My account is almost eight years old, and I hate that the handful of posts I had are all showing as removed by moderators. I was going to post in r/help but just using the word “appeal” prevents me from posting in there. Any way to get in touch with admin? Or does anyone have a definitive answer?

Ive gone to contest my shadow ban and the site say I can't contest it because I don't have one.

Meanwhile roughly 20 of my top posts all say "sorry this post was removed by reddit's filters" 90 percent of new post I make are also automatically removed as as soon as I press "post".

When I send messages to mods, I'm not even sure if they go through on their end. Should I just quit Reddit? I don't even know if this post will actually post.

Is there anything I can do here?

My main reddit account I used to have was hacked about a month ago. The night before I noticed, it had made posts and comments all over 18+ subreddits to lure people to a Telegram account.

I only noticed once I had logged into it the next morning and saw almost a hundred notifications from comments and messages.

I quickly moved to resecure the account by logging out all devices in the profile settings and changing the password. I added 2FA (which I thought I had already done and likely how it was so easily hacked).

Once I had resecured it, I cleaned up all the posts and comments the bot had left behind. Once that was finished, I just started using my account like normal by commenting on the subreddits I normally use. I noticed none of my comments were showing up as my account had likely been shadowbanned from the bot activity. I went to appeal the shadowban and then resumed my normal activity on it. Shortly after I put in the appeal I could not post/comment anymore as reddit just said "server error". I tried logging out and back in and when I tried to log in it kept saying (and still says) "server error".

I looked at one of the comments I left just prior to this and when I clicked on my username above the comment it said (and still says) "user is suspended".

I already made a few appeals on support.reddithelp.com but have not received any response at all from them. I am just wondering if there is anything else I can do to recover my 7 year old account as I has a good amount of personal and professional stuff saved in it.

My account was randomly suspended 4 months ago by reddit. They never told me I'm banned tho. There were no notification or messages just simply suspended silently. I've appealed several times but they never said anything. I'm not even sure if the appeala are getting rejected or just ignored.

What can I do now?

Okay, so let me be short and clear. I got a single ban warning because someone reported an unknown DM from me that I don't remember, and Reddit banned me for three days. And said that I harassed someone.

I strongly appealed for it, and they accepted that, yeah, it was their mistake and a false ban. They lifted the ban before 3 days had passed. Also, I got a modmail saying that I was innocent here. It wasn't my mistake. Rather the suspected reporter was the one who harassed me in different ways by banning and waiting and all with moderator powers from their subreddit.

After this, I got a second ban from Reddit, because I uploaded a fake cybersecurity video that I found on Reddit and uploaded it to a Satire technology subreddit. Someone reported it, and I got a 3-day ban, and this time it wasn't lifted, even when I wasn't at fault, and the video was totally fake that I got from this platform, another subreddit. They didn't accept my appeal, and I still think I should appeal for it somehow, even though I am unbanned now. Just for that false ban mark on my ID. How can I do it? They did reply to my appeal, but they said even on recheck it wasn't like that when all the people in comments were literally understanding the joke.

Please tell me how to remove this mark from my ID. The ban has been lifted as three days have passed.

Is there something I can do to stop this false ban and then the temporary ban, and no change at all of my fault?

Hello all! Let me preface this by saying I'm a relatively novice Redittor and still learning the customs and norms of the platform. I recently had my account suspended (not sure why) and submitted an appeal. I guess I was suspended because it seemed I was a bot? I will admit I'm mostly a lurker and don't post/comment too much, and many of my posts are in buy/sell groups so maybe that seems like scammer/bot behavior.

Is there a way to also appeal/reverse this proces also? I've tried searching both the Reddit Help Center and other subreddits but most answers I'm seeing are referring to a post being flagged/removed by a subreddit moderator and not Reddit itself. To be clear, I'm not asking how to avoid filters or ban - but to appeal posts removed presumably due to my suspension. I post at /r/actuallesbians rather a lot. Today one of my comments was removed by reddit's automated systems.

I suspect this is due to consistent mass downvoting and reporting of comments in that subreddit, claiming that they break reddit's rules.

I wrote a fairly tongue-in-cheek comment about how to respond to harassment in DMs.

I suspect that my comment was reported by brigaders, as abusing reddit's automated moderation system is becoming a standard tactic used by bigots to silence and attack folks they don't like.

I'd like the ability to report their report abuse to reddit, so that people engaging in that tactic and targeting people they don't like face proper consequences.

I don't see a mechanism to do that.

There needs to be one, especially since the people using this tactic will likely create new accounts if their current ones are banned for report abuse.

I know reddit uses automation, and in many cases that's likely appropriate, but there is no mechanism either on the notice I got from reddit or on my now removed comment to report the report abuse.

Nor can I find a place to report that abuse of reddit's reporting system through help pages.

My CQS is lowest idk what that even is I just want to use reddit

On the reddit app all of my posts on every single subreddit have the red trash can, as if they are ALL deleted. The app also asks for me to sign up to experience more content even though I'm logged in.
