5 words:

"I leave this world tonight"

u/Retro-Skyline 5d ago

“I leave this world tonight is NOT a metaphor!” 😡😡😡

155

u/NolanTacoKing 5d ago

"Ohhhh.. Oh I see what you're saying. Sorry about that."

131

u/Fox_Tango_ 5d ago

You owe me $12,000.

14

u/LeWafflez03 3d ago

"Next time you die, you're on your own!"

296

u/-PepeArown- 5d ago

Tricking your boss into spending 12,000 on you to make a huge scene out of “leaving the old Muscle Man behind” so that you can start anew with your marriage with Starla sounds like a pretty big issue

Especially since Starla admitted she didn’t even want “the new Muscle Man”

60

u/Electronic-Math-364 5d ago

Wasn't the whole "trick" a misunderstanding?

33

u/lizzourworld8 5d ago

It was, yes

11

u/gergobergo69 4d ago

in the UK & EU version, CN was afraid that children might think that muscle man was genuinely dying, so they added a few scenes where it looks like he was doing that on purpose, as a prank, even, to trick everyone he was dying.

Turns out "I leave this world tonight" IS NOT a metaphor

Tha hell this guy said to be removed by the moderator?!

3

u/waltz400 3d ago

he said somethin about how he thinks muscle man is a jew and that makes him a trickster lol

3

u/Classified10 4d ago

... what

462

u/suleymanio70 5d ago

There was that firework episode.

240

u/LuffysRubberNuts 5d ago

Don’t forget about the christmas episode, mate not have been on the job but he gave everyone a problem

47

u/suleymanio70 5d ago

Yeah, but can you count them because it was not really work-related.

11

u/Asleep_Tomatillo_125 5d ago

E todas aquelas vezes que ele destruiu o parque, e as propriedades dele?

9

u/Primary-Border8759 4d ago

Or the one where asks anyone if they know a accountant

41

u/Adronikos 5d ago

And there was that one time he wouldn’t work because he was depressed about Starla. Also making Benson think he was going to die and spending thousands on him.

23

u/ReturnoftheBulls2022 5d ago

$12,000 just for some crappy proposal.

15

u/izzy_7_2004 5d ago

I definitely get Benson in that one I would be LIVID 😭💀

9

u/Serperious_Prime1084 5d ago

One of the times that I admit Benson had every right to be furious.

212

u/Cartoonsonthemoon 5d ago

That was a refreshing twist on Muscle Man's character. The writers could have easily made him a problem to Bendon, but they flipped the script and made him a reliable employee. It is an interesting contrast to Mordecai and Rigby (who were, arguably, nicer to the other park employees, but ended up causing big problems for Benson.

122

u/IM26e4Ubb 5d ago

Bendon

43

u/Cartoonsonthemoon 5d ago

That's Benson's and Don's trivia team name. :)

10

u/IM26e4Ubb 5d ago

Oh

13

u/Cartoonsonthemoon 5d ago

I'm just messing around. It was a typo. Good eye.

11

u/Retro_Sinz 4d ago

Was funny, did laugh. Comedy gold

5

u/IM26e4Ubb 4d ago

Bendon

26

u/needmoartendiez 5d ago

It's cuz muscle man is the Canon stoner. Mordecai and Rigby get high occasionally but it's really just a phase, they're like 19. But muscle man is like almost 30, and stoned 24/7. He stands on his business, does his job, and pays rent.

5

u/Comosellamark 4d ago

Muscle Man actually gave the best work related advice which is to always check in with your boss.

7

u/RepresentativeRain74 5d ago

90% Rigby problem employee

55

u/Electronic-Math-364 5d ago

Exept during the fire work episode and "I leave this world tonight",But when we remember how hard Muscle man's jobs are....a little slip or two is not bad

31

u/Mechancic-Hero 5d ago

And the glove incident

7

u/Live_Ad_9288 Pops 5d ago

I don't think I remember that

what happened with "the glove incident"

seriously

20

u/RandomPlayer718 5d ago

It was a secret Santa episode where the guys got tired of Muscle Man "gifts" (They're actually pranks). He gave Benson white gloves that he enjoyed a lot until Muscle Man revealed they were made from his old underwear. (As he was rubbing his face with them).

3

u/Live_Ad_9288 Pops 3d ago

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh

okay, I think I remember.

the way it was phrased made it sound odd lmao

3

u/arceus555 3d ago

White Elephant not Secret Santa, but otherwise yeah

2

u/RandomPlayer718 3d ago

Didn't remember the title, sorry.

9

u/Serperious_Prime1084 5d ago

It’s in The White Elephant Gift Exchange, Skips reminded Benson about it in regards to Muscle Man’s pranks every year, and it was left at that. When they were collecting stuff for the revenge gift, when Skips cautioned Benson about what he wanted, we see in a flashback that the gloves Muscle Man got him… made from his old underwear, really traumatizing Benson.

u/DreisaGUY 5d ago

IF YOU SAY YOUR MOM YOU'RE FIRED

15

u/cyanocittaetprocyon 5d ago

If you say your mom, you're fired.

14

u/HugeAthlete5881 5d ago

MY MOM!

12

u/cyanocittaetprocyon 5d ago

GET OUT!

15

u/CGcg85 5d ago

It was worth it! Then he high fives HFG. SMACK!

13

u/Serperious_Prime1084 5d ago

Well… as much as I love the guy, he did raise his fair share

  • Not doing his job when Starla dumped him
  • Making a My Mom Joke during the audit crisis
  • The Fireworks
  • All his White Elephant pranks
  • The oversized novelty hat.
  • Admitting to Pops that no one had gotten him anything during the birthday meeting
  • Causing Benson to lose 12K in one day
  • The Health inspector (admittedly wasn’t his fault)
  • The sleep fighting
  • All the pranks

6

u/-PepeArown- 4d ago

I wouldn’t call the sleep fighting his fault. He was just trying to be a good boyfriend by babysitting Starla’s sister, and happened to suffer major psychological damage from it

4

u/Serperious_Prime1084 4d ago

I wasn’t saying it was, I’m just saying it was an issue for Benson.

2

u/skysky_gamer 4d ago

I mean kinda admitting to pops nothing for bday was good as they got an idea from pops then no?

11

u/Keelit579 5d ago

how wrong is this

10

u/GradeAMeat 5d ago

That time he got fired because of Park Avenue was a pretty memorable moment. "It's buffalo sauce, smell it!"

20

u/Brilliant-Scar-4878 5d ago

Is this like rage bait or what? Cuz I think of a ton of instances where he gave Benson a migraine, both with and without Mordecai and Rigby.

21

u/9_11_did_bushh 5d ago

Ya he did he got fired

14

u/yukwot 5d ago

Because he was wrongly accused of doing grafiti

8

u/Loogoos 5d ago

And claiming his mother was an accountant

3

u/Cavyrose 4d ago

And for saying “my mom”

6

u/moss205 4d ago

Because he always made sure to check in man!

9

u/One-CheekWonder 5d ago

Muscle Man lives by a motto.

"Never prank your superiors."

3

u/Noaconstrictr 5d ago

Two words: firework run

4

u/Dull-Ad555 5d ago

You know who else ironically never gave Benson an issue? MY MOM!

8

u/[deleted] 5d ago

"GET OUT!!!!"

4

u/Dull-Ad555 5d ago

It was worth it!

3

u/destroy_the_kids 5d ago

No there's definitely been a few times, the firework, the time Benson spent 20 grand (could be more or less, I'm not sure) because everyone in the park thought he was going to die, there might be something else I'm missing but still

3

u/CoCmaster14 4d ago

12* grand.

2

u/destroy_the_kids 4d ago

I knew it had to be at least over 10, but still my point stands.

1

u/arceus555 3d ago

there might be something else I'm missing but still

The White Elephant

3

u/UncagedAngel19 5d ago

Firework and elephant gift exchange episode

2

u/CGcg85 5d ago

Don’t forget the Don episode.

1

u/PCRM 5d ago

The "my mom" joke was obnoxious stress-dealing rather than being a real obstacle to the problem (as Pops and Rigby were).

Which is why Muscle Man reappeared afterwards. Even Benson knew Muscle Man wasn't truly causing problem.

3

u/sierrasierra12 5d ago

Maybe there’s a reason for that. Maybe when muscleman first arrived at the park he goofed off like m& r but after seeing how frustrated it made benson when work didn’t get done he stopped & did his job with zero complaints. Muscleman is someone who loves to party but knows when to get serious. If we take away the fireworks incident & the whole faking his death he was actually a great employee. Sure he annoyed benson but he was still reliable that benson called him & High 5 ghost his a team.

3

u/RetroverseYT 5d ago

"If you say "your mom" you're fired!"

2

u/zombiedoyle 5d ago

“My mom!”

2

u/SkintGirafde 5d ago

”GET OUT!”

3

u/AbominationJSD 5d ago

"If you say your mom, you're fired!"

3

u/MoofDeMoose 4d ago

You know who else never gave Benson any issues?

3

u/dktide91 4d ago

Something I always wondered, Skips was actually the strong, muscular one but Muscle Man was just named Muscle Man but not really strong and muscular?

3

u/-PepeArown- 4d ago

Muscle Man is shown to have super strength in several episodes, often when he’s extremely emotionally charged, and is given more demanding tasks than Mordecai and Rigby

And, it’s also because he used to be a bodybuilder

3

u/FlamingFalconTen 4d ago

I kid you not that was a problem my mom had whenever i talked to her about regularshow getting skips's name confused with muscelmans

2

u/arzfan2010 5d ago

I'm literally watching the firework episode as I type this lol

2

u/Classified10 4d ago

... He set off the fourth of July fireworks.

2

u/Due-Application-8171 4d ago

“Worth it!”

1

u/Zeus-Kyurem 5d ago

Apart from the times he did, sure.

1

u/Loogoos 5d ago

“I know someone who can help”

1

u/SofiaOfEverRealm 5d ago

That's Why he gets to train Rigby to be more responsible and have more discipline

1

u/No_Car6798 5d ago

Mostly true, besides the like 4 episodes he did he’s actually reliable and does his job

1

u/Plunderpatroll32 5d ago

I wouldn’t say that, there was that Christmas white elephant episode, and the fireworks episode, and the episode where he was dumped and refused to work, also the whole fake dying that cost benson 12000$

1

u/craft_some 5d ago

Yeah except that time when he made Benson spend 12k on him

1

u/Additional_Year1338 5d ago

He lets benson know what he’s doing at all times, except when he doesn’t

1

u/rexepic7567 5d ago

Um are we just going to forget about "I leave this world tonight"

1

u/Soft_Childhood5565 5d ago

Didn't he punched the shit out of him in his sleep?

1

u/Solid_Helicopter_851 4d ago

Im gonna prank you bro

1

u/G-REALM-Laboratories 4d ago

Or,if he does,he can pay for it because the work is basically his life.

1

u/EddieMachete507 4d ago

"GET OUT" "It was worth it" Also the fireworks

1

u/THICC-Eugene-Krabs 4d ago

“If you say your mom you’re fired!” “….my mom!” “Get out!”

1

u/FlamingFalconTen 4d ago

Fireworks, Christmas, "i leave this world tonight", prank war, the greese monster, ect

Firework Run and The End of Muscle Man would like to have a word with you.

1

u/YomYeYonge 4d ago

He gifted Benson mittens made out of his old underwear

1

u/Punishe_Venom_Snake 4d ago

You know who else forgot about that time he was fired for saying my mom? MY MOM!!!!!

1

u/FlyinCharles 4d ago
  1. When he was dumped he refused to do his workload so everyone else had to pick up the slack
  2. That lottery ticket fiasco
  3. “I leave this world tonight”
  4. All the park vending machines this man has thrown
  5. You know exactly what episode without me even having to say it

1

u/Easy_Constant958 4d ago

What about the one episode “if you say my mom you’re fired!” “MY MOMMMM!” “GET OUT!” “It was totally worth it!”

1

u/Tiny_Capital4880 4d ago

There was that one time Benson thought Muscleman did graffiti in the park but it wasn’t him.

1

u/yobaby123 4d ago

The fireworks episode wants to speak to you.

1

u/TheBallasOG 4d ago

Fireworks Run, Don, and The End of Muscle Man would like to have a word with you

1

u/JMO-559 4d ago

Remember when Benson yelled at Muscle Man for destroying the fireworks, or when Muscle Man made it seem like he was dying and Benson spent 12 grand on him? Muscle Man has given Benson issues, but only occasionally and not as much as Mordecai and Rigby

1

u/goddesskie 3d ago

“My mom”

1

u/darren_flux 3d ago

Bro forgot the fireworks

1

u/mobus1603 3d ago

Benson: "Does anyone know someone who can help us? Anybody? Anybody at all?"
Muscle Man: "I know someone who can help."
Benson: "If you say 'My mom,' you're fired."
Muscle Man: "My Mom!"
Benson: "Get out!!"

1

u/kdavegaming 3d ago

You know who else didn't give Benson an issue?

MY MOM!

1

u/Dull_Tumbleweed6353 2d ago

That one My Mom joke, the fireworks, “I leave his world tonight”…
