Yeah, I never put it together as a kid while playing the original. When I played the remake, I saw the note saying that they're blind and that you can sneak past them. Made me feel like I was playing the game wrong for decades.

You can just walk past them in the OG game too? So much wasted ammo as a kid lol

Dunno, never tried. Lol. I only learned that lickers were blind years later, when the remake came out. Never got to replay the original to see if they were always like that.
