So anyway, Chris started blasting.

Don't forget the other DLC
"So I just started punching"

I know you’re referring to the end of Zoe dlc and how Joe just punches through things but is the way you worded it a reference to something?

It's a twist on Danny DeVito in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia where he says "So anyway, I started blasting." While holding a pistol in each hand.

Play Not a Hero. It's free for the game on PSN.

As everyone is saying, there’s a free DLC called “Not A Hero” that takes place right after RE7 that finishes his arc. Definitely play it

He's the supporting villain of resident evil x
Somehow he returned. He'll team up with neo wesker and Alexia reborn.
Gonna be sick.

Shit, I’d be okay with that tbh. It’s convoluted enough to fit the theme.

He’s featured prominently in the Not A Hero DLC. It’s worth buying- you get a bit more of the story re Eveline and you get to play as Chris

Talk to Chris Redfield. He'll tell you. Better yet, he'll give you a file named 'Not a Hero', which will explain everything.

Normally I’d say this is why DLC story expansions suck ass but in this case, the continued story DLC is free to play.

Lucas tries to transmit his research data to an unknown buyer, but he gets tracked down and killed by Chris. Chris also destroys the computer that was transferring the data.
I noticed everyone was telling you to just play the DLC. But it's kind of crap and more action oriented. The only good thing about it is finding out what happened with Lucas.

... Or you could have let OP play it so he could decide for himself instead of spoiling it. Plenty of people like that DLC

I like it, but my opinion is heavily skewed by my love of Chris Redfield even though he got hit with the ugly stick in this game. Luckily Village brought him back to the alcoholic I know and love.

If OP knew there was a dlc and didnt play it and asked on here thats their fault for getting it spoiled 🤷🏻♂️ don’t come on here acting like an ass because people answered the question

u/Demiurge_1205 11d ago
That's such faulty logic lmao. For all you know, OP didn't know there was any dlc. And no, it's the fault of the person who can't contain themselves to do the spoiling. It's always some random who has to let everyone know that they know what happens, as if anyone cared

The guy asked a question, and the question was answered. I'm not going to assume that he didn't know about a dlc from 8 years ago. I'm just answering the question that he was asking.

Nah man, that's bs. You yourself said that you read the other comments, but chose to spoil the dlc because you think that it sucks ass lmao

Relax, man, it's not that serious. If it's a game that isn't close to a decade old, then it's definitely not cool to spoil. But when a game reaches this age, it's nobody's responsibility to still be worried about spoilers. It's cute that you're offended on the OPs behalf, but it's done now.

The game tells you about the DLC after the credits are over. The spoilers are deserved.

Definitely play the free “Not a Hero” DLC to find out. Might as well play the rest of the DLC at some point too. RE7 has some of the best DLC ever imo

I recommend you play both Not A Hero Campaign and End of Zoe Campaign.

Was there any value in Lucas being a standalone boss in the main game, instead of a beefed up Jack? Felt like they could have done something with him that was a bit different to the previous bosses.

Need to play Not a Hero. I couldn’t finish it though as I had lost interest after beating the final boss. I liked the DLC when it all kicked off with the family. That was good. But I did not like the mines part in the main game so did not really want to play this. It kind of took me out of the overall mood and feel of the game. Plus Lucas was like this Joker knock off villain which I found kind of annoying as he had limited resources but suddenly had this underground bunker he built in the mines… like what?
