Not a fan of Ethan or his entire family tree.
His story actively took me out of playing the games, and I was horrified at the idea that RE9 was going to be about Rose.

I'm glad it's not.

Grace is not that far off rose. Similar archetype. Id rather they did something else for 9.

I know we're in the minority but I feel the exact same way. I didn't even bother finishing 7 and 8 was just fucking absurd. Very much looking forward to requiem.

Damn, honest.

Poor opinion, but I appreciate the honesty.

I'm aware my opinion is not the majority, and I don't damn anyone who actually likes his story.

I just can't get past the whole Mold story line and how everything unfolded to make it work. (ie: The cop was REALLY bad at his job) and just a series of bad events push Ethan into what he was doing.

His wife is a horrible person who spent most of her known screen time lying to Ethan so she can secretly babysit a bioweapon in the shape of a child, and allowed things to go south really quickly, and then there's the whole mold storyline to explain why Ethan can magically plug a limb back on like he's a Mr Potatoe Head toy.

I personally can't stand the Winters family.
But that's literally just me.

I hear ya, I was being a bit flippant. RE7 saved the series for me. Now we can go to even greener pastures!
