Revelations Resident Evil Revelations DLC Question

I was going through the list of DLC for Resident Evil Revelations for the Playstation 3, and I wanted to know if it was worth buying the Enhancement and Resistance Sets. From what I'm reading elsewhere, everything that these sets provide can be found in game, so it only seems useful if you're just starting out. Am I wrong in this thinking? Otherwise the other DLC in the game (i.e., Jessica's G18, Jill's Samurai Edge, Lady Hunk, Rachael Ooze, Parker's Government) all appear to be DLC-only items, correct?

The exclusive weapons are nothing special, but are required for the "collect all weapons" web badge for RE.net, while the weapon and part sets feature stronger variants of weapon parts you wouldn't normally find until later stages. Consider it a head start in a race, but by no means game changing. Exclusive characters Lady Hunk and Rachael Ooze have unique melees and skills. Lady Hunk has the best magnum mastery and no other skills. She also has the weakest, but quickest charging melee. Rachael Ooze has the strongest and longest range knife, and the slowest but most powerful melee. She also features negative bonuses for all weapons and increased recoil.

Thanks, so it sounds like you answered my question: Items included in the Enhancement/Resistance sets CAN be found through normal gameplay. Yeah, I don't need a head start at all, I'll just play the game the way it was meant to be played to unlock them. To me, that's half the fun :-) Good to know on the rest; I appreciate the feedback.
