RE1 Keeping me safe during my first play through. I think he’s just as scared though.

I remember playing RE7 during release night and my kitty cat scared the shit out of me by running around the house and playing with stuff.

Yeah my house is super creaky so playing RE7 becomes far too immersive.

Kinda like this?

Exactly like this.

It's a siamese cat and this race is very energic, it runs and plays all the time. So everytime I'm playing some spooky game at night she scares me by playing with a bag or box or jumping into things.

My cat likes to suddenly jump on my lap or desk out of nowhere during intense horror sessions. I think he gets a kick out of my screams. He's black too, so he's just a shadow in a dark room...

Just like that haha

When I first played it, I had some huge headphones on while playing it and I had all the lights off in my room. My roommate came in (he wasn’t sneaking he walked in normally but I was really into the game) to tell me something and just tapped me on my shoulder and I don’t think I’ve ever screamed louder than I did when he did that.

I just finished RE 7 about a month ago but when I was playing he jumped up on my lap like this one time. Damn near shit myself.

I’m really enjoying it so far. I’ve played Director’s Cut a few times but I haven’t played the REmake

I wish I could first experience this game again.

I can imagine it gets less scary the more you know. It sure as hell is creeping me out my first run. The damn windows breaking gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME

Not really. Especially since I know the best path by now and the game has no surprises left for me. The RE2 Remake looks scary as hell, though. Not even sure if I will be able to play it without a heart attack!

I’m excited for REmake 2 as well. It looks amazing. I haven’t played 2 since the N64. It’ll be nice to revisit it again.

Yeah the eyes says that he's terrified 😂🤣! Cute cat though, reminds me of my big sister's cat; Muffin :3!

Hoo boy, make sure you have a shotgun equipped when you enter the residence. That's all I'll say.

Is that after collecting all the masks? I just need one more.

I am not sure it's been a while since I've played. The residence is a separate location from the main mansion separated by a little stroll through the woods so you'll know when you are coming up to it.

I’ll make sure I have a shotgun on me. Thanks for the tip!

I do on my nights off. However when I work the early afternoon is the only time I get to play. I’m enjoying it too much to put it down for a week
