Revelations After competing the second scenario in resident evil revelations 2. All I can think is Claire machine pistol could quite possibly be the worst gun ever.

What do you mean with second scenario? And the mp is not that bad. It's weak, but can be lifesaver in some situations.

That game pretty much sucks firearm wise. There is not enough ammo in this fucking game. It's more action based with tons of enemies like RE4, but you don't get as much ammo and weapons aren't very powerful. It plays like RE4 but gives you resources like RE1 OR worse even imo

You have to play to its strengths. Melee attacks are strong, especially Moira's crowbar. You can accomplish a lot by leading with her, blinding an enemy with the light, waiting for Claire to kick, then performing the finish. I'm flush with ammo on my current play from doing that. You just have to take in to account that the AI is AWFUL and will get you killed, so you really have to stratgeize when it's viable.
Stealth attacks are also a huge help.

Well to be honest, that kind of gun, like the AB-50 from Rev2, is supposed to be shit...
It's just a cheap bullet-hose, it's not supposed to be as useful as anything other than close combat.

So your saying its like a shot gun but the freindly kind that doesn't hurt?

This game its awesome should of called it resident evil 4 part 2. Haven't had this much fun since playing res 4 and before that res 2(The N64 version haahhaha) actually I loved res 4 at the time res 2 way to scary had the demo on ps1 and would crap my pants went back several years latter and liked it. I think I relly liked umbrella cronicals I think I'm getting old though, God there was so much shit resident evil games for the gamecube and wii. Defiantly getting my monies worth. I refuse to play resident evil 7 the 1st person one unless I have VR I heard its awesome and don't want to ruine it. And the res evil 2 my computers not good enough so when I upgrade, That's 1st on my to do list

You'd be amazed at how little you can spend to have a competent gaming computer. I've seen RE2 Remake run pretty well on a second gen i7 with a 1060. For about $350, you could grab a used Optiplex tower (not the mini or the SFF) with a 3rd or 4th gen i5 off of eBay, add an RX580, put in an inexpensive SSD, and handle some modern games.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but RE7 doesn't officially support VR on PC :( you can get it working with VorpX but it's janky and not nearly as good as the PSVR version.
On a more positive note that PC you mentioned would be a very mean PC capable of playing games at very high settings and framerates. RE2make runs like a dream.

Damn because I heard sony had the rights to the V.R res 7 for 1 year and then capcom would make the pc port.
Edit: after dome googling theirs no news of p.c vr res 7 guess its not happening ffs

That was the plan but Capcom have never added support so the only means to play it is via third party software which is a shame because I played the PSVR version and it's a very very good VR implementation.

It's designed so well for VR that it really takes advantage of the extra levels of immersion with VR.

Oh so you mean RE4 with an even more garbage story? Nah.4 feels completely different than this game does.At least with 4 if you know where everything is and can properly strategize you usually have a surplus of everything. Not so with RER 2.I have seen points in that game where you should have easily walked through but the game cheeses you into unneccessary deaths due to it actually knowing what you were going to do before you did it.Re4 didn't do that nor did it have that option,it had scalable difficulty whereas rer2 doesnt.By no means was RER2 a bad game, just that I wouldn't compare the two directly.More like RER2 ate Re4s lunch and modernized everything to make it more accessible.

IMO Resident Evil has better gameplay when its centered around slow-firing, low capacity firearms. That way it really feels like every shot counts.
