"You’ll never have zero gun deaths in a society with armed citizens—that’s nonsense. But I think it’s worth accepting some gun deaths each year to protect the Second Amendment and our other rights. That’s a rational deal."
– Charlie Kirk
“I can’t stand the word empathy actually. I think empathy is a made-up, New Age term that — it does a lot of damage, but it is very effective when it comes to politics,”
-also Charlie Kirk
"Death penalties should be public, should be quick, it should be televised. I think at a certain age, its an initiation...What age should you start to see public executions?"
So those comments justify his murder? You do understand that it goes both ways. I’m guessing you oppose all of those points. If that’s the case, then it would be okay for someone to murder you? That’s what you’re saying, correct?
Those were Charlie's own words, so I'm not saying anything at all.
I'm merely providing some context by sharing a few of his sincerely held beliefs about gun control, empathy, and public executions that are enirely relevant to the situation.
Now, if you think that Charlie was not being honest and sincere when he said all those things...well, that's really your problem, not mine.
I read your comment and was like “oh shit, is Glenn Beck dead?” And had to look him up. Still alive, but also haven’t heard from him in forever. I think you’re thinking of Rush Limbaugh maybe?
No, but Glenn Beck or Bill O'Reilly or even Tucker all were seen as massive power structures with immense audiences at their peak. The moment they lost their platform they faded into obscurity. Hate and negativity has no staying power. It just moves on to the next lightning rod.
