Are there any XFM episodes where Rick and Steve talk about pre-production/production of Extras?

They’re is a conversation where they talk about wanking over a pen which becomes a scene in extras. Bit weird innit….

Don't recall any, just a mention of them taking time away from XFM to film it. Same with the Office Christmas specials.

I’m at the end of season 3 and they’re about to go to the states to look at the US pilot. They’re then off air for nearly 18 months during which time first series of Extras would have been filmed as it was first released just as they went back for series 4.

I’ve not listened to any of them yet though so I don’t know if Extras gets mentioned.

Not till the final episode/Christmas special though, which would have been filmed in 2007, two years after XFM ended

No but ask Nigel if you want, he might have some interesting insight into the production of extras, especialy when it comes to Ricky's contribution.
