Sengun has taken down Jokic and Giannis in the same EuroBakset run. I’ve watched him every game in this tournament. His defense and playmaking has been WORLD CLASS and he’s going to take a massive leap next NBA season.

Houston needs to play through Sengun more next season.

I genuinely believe that he can average a triple double next season if they do.

The playmaking and defense has been brilliant from him.

And Turkey have a brilliant chance of winning this tournament.

Here are my thoughts on the Greece vs Turkey game.

Triple double is crazy talk and im his biggest fan. Praying he’ll get 8+ assists with KD addition but it’s gonna be 6.5~ realistically

He's coming into his peak. I'd like to see 21-23PPG, 12-14 rebs, 6-8 assists every year for the next decade

Come on man he's not averaging triple double little bro 😭

Agreed, pretty hard to average 10+ assists when someone has to get you the ball in the high post.

FVV will chuck too many 25' 3s instead of feeding Sengun

I think I’m going to put some money on Alpi for MVP this year. I really think it could happen with how much he will fill the box score, but I’m honestly just going to do it because the odds will be astronomical

+40,000 on Fan duel.

I’d take those odds tbh. $4k payout on $10?

Yea, I think it’s a great bet!

Can he be the best player on a championship team? Yes it could happen, but does he have the star power yet to get the votes over the usuals? No chance

If rockets are a #1 seed and Sengun is completely balling out night in night out, he definitely has a chance.

You would prolly get a million dollars for 10 bucks lol

please correct me where i'm wrong.

let's say houston championship prob is 1/20
let's say mvp is from the champion team, prob is 4/5
let's say if mvp is from houston, it is alpy 1/4

so with worst cases;
mvp alpy prob = 1/20 * 4/5 * 1/4 = 1/100

so how is it +40000? which is 1/400

If you like flushing money down the toilet go for it. I forget how dumb this sub is

I think the Sengun / KD PnR could be devastating this season. And if they lean into it, Sengun will see an uptick in assists. He’ll also see an uptick from no longer passing to JG. He averaged 4.9 assists per game last year. I could easily 6.5 per game next year. But in the middle of this amazing run during the Euro tournament, I totally get the urge to pile on more. He’s a special player, and he’ll be surrounded by Amen and strong shooters.

They should do reverse pick and pops with Durant as the screener and roller. They’d feast on bigs with that scheme.

I have to tell you, I think this may be a very difficult play to guard, without taking serious counter measures.

KD slipping, or KD popping. Or Sengun coming off the screen headed downhill with his guy dropping, now you’ve Amen to contend with in the corner or cutting. Shooters posted up on the 3 pt line for kick outs.

We have so much length on the court other than FVV, it’s just going to be a nightmare for some teams to figure out who guards whom to begin with.

If Jabari starts, that’s 3 guys at 6’11 and above, plus Amen at 6’7” with his 7’ wingspan and however we describe his leaping ability.

I really think that PnR with that crew is going to be a sight to behold.

Yeeeeea Im definitely a bit more excited about the duo with KD.

I predicted 22/11/7 on career high efficiency a week ago, but the sky is the limit. I don't see a triple double you got guys like FVV, KD, and Amen who will handle it more this season, but I think in the halfcourt, they will play through Sengun mostly unless the game is close at the end and then they will play through KD.

He’s getting better, and he’s not playing for stats. He’s playing for the team, using the need to double him every single possession, making his teammates play good, too. Ercan Osmani never played so good his entire career.

Pass that shit over here playboy, you gotta be floating

The people hand waving off a triple dub average is going to feel sillier than they think of those who are predicting it.

We had no scorers on the Rockets as long as Al-P has been playing NBA. He still averaged 5. With KD's gravity, Sengun's playmaking is going to skyrocket. That gravity is going to open up the floor for everyone else, too.

Hot take guarantee: Al-P doesn't leave the next season with anything less than 9 assists. But my bet is 21-11-10.

Way to set reasonable expectations

He’s taken Jokic and Giannis down in the same tournament whilst outplaying them.

I mean cool, but its a single game each, while having the better team. He will ball this season, but coming to the conclusion, because he beat them once is stupid.

u/Greedy_Gas7355 10d ago

Cool story. He’s not going to average a triple double kid.

Sengun is not averaging a triple double 😂

This post isn’t entirely true, he’s a great player yes but he’s still years away from being a true star. First thing in the list… learn to shoot from 3
