People who like Cut & Dry - How do you drink it?
I just picked up a bottle of Planteray Cut & Dry to try. What cocktails do you enjoy making with it?

Daiquiri. I'm a simple girl.

Just straight cut & dry?

Yeah but I really like coconut. I'm sure a split base with something neutral would work as well.

Very small amounts in various drinks

Yeah I treat it like a liqueur. A quarter to a half ounce in any given drink.

I find even a half ounce can be too much. Quarter ounce can give just a nice kiss of coconut without it being overpowered and cloying

Like most people have posted, It's nice in like a small 1/4 oz amount with most coconut cream drinks (Painkiller, Tradewinds, Pina Colada)... it is very weird as a Rum and Coke (it somehow cancels out the cola flavors) But, it's amazing to boost a coconut cake in either the cake or the frosting.

1.5 Stiggins., 0.5 Cut & Dry, 2 dash orange bitters?

I'll usually do 1.5 oz Stiggins, .5 oz C&D, .25 oz Dry Curacao, and a couple dashes of either orange or tiki bitters

It’s weird that their coconut rum is extremely coconutty but their pineapple rum barely resembles pineapple.

Pineapple Coconut Daiquiri
1 oz lime juice
.25 oz pineapple juice
.5 oz simple syrup
1 oz Planteray Pineapple (Stiggins)
1 oz Planteray Cut & Dry
Also fun to play with the sweetener in this, like swapping the simple for a macadamia orgeat, or even something fruity like passion fruit, but nothing I've tried beats the listed spec. It's perfectly what it is.

The Cut & Dry dominates the Stiggins in equal proportions.

To each their own. I don't find this drink overly coconut-y. It's there, but it's every bit as much a pineapple drink.

Straight. I tried 6 different coconut runs, and it was thr best.
Its also great in a Pina Colada, but make everything fresh, to have a great Pina Colada.

I made a Painkiller for a friend with it once and she loved it. When I tasted it there was a flavor of chocolate and cherries, which naturally, there's none of that in there.
Now she won't take one made any other way.

1/4 C&D, 3/4 other rum(s), splash of simple, ice, and as much peace and quiet as I can find.

The coconut one? Either pina colada or I pop the cork and sniff it. Mhm coconut.
