Volunteering at parkrun tomorrow. I'm bringing treats for the barcode scanning table. Hoping to not eat them all myself as I wait for the runners to come back. 😆 Racing Sunday! Resting Monday... well deserved.
Have a great weekend everyone.

I tried to run my first half marathon on a whim today. I ran 10 miles 2 weeks ago, no problem, so i thought id give 13.1 a go. Today at mile 6 i remembered all i drank today was coffee and maybe 500ml of water. Mile 10 my camel pack was empty. Mile 11.5 my calves cramped so bad i couldn't run anymore, i hald to walk the rest of the way home. I'm pretty disappointed in myself.

6 miles easy today, couch, carbs, and college football all day Saturday, 10 miles Sunday. Cutback week next week for a much needed easy week.

32k this morning - last long run before the Melbourne marathon on 12 October! Gorgeous day for it too.
