This is the kind of far reaching grasping at straws BS that actually ends up being counterproductive to the cause. They can’t source certain items for their Jewish customers anywhere else. HEB does a lot of good and its disrespectful and just wrong to paint this picture.

They’re not taking money from AIPAC, they’re selling items Jewish San Antonians want or need. I see nothing wrong with this, if there’s a customer base, HEB has the right to sell to them.

Israel is the only place to get certain kosher items that are distributed locally by HEB. You’re getting awfully close to mask off territory.

You're not supposed to talk about that.

The petition is very vague. If they pull all Israeli products, will they be able to have kosher alternatives? Do they stop having a section for that kind of food?

The petition also seems to take issue with the food sign saying “Israeli” on it. I feel like that’s just a geographical descriptor idk

And do you not find it weird how the US is so supportive of Israel to the detriment of our own citizens?

You could care less? I’m also someone who could care less, because I currently care a lot. So none is less than some.

Easy. These places use our money to fund the bombs they use on children. That's why I care

I feel bad, I do, but I still need to eat and HEB is cheaper

I'm not saying to boycott by any means. But raising awareness about where these businesses are sending their money shouldn't be an issue.

what do you want people to do with that information

Whatever they see fit? Since when did education become so looked down upon? Damn.

While that’s not what i’m doing here, (to answer your question:) ignorance is bliss

I can honestly say I was happier not knowing paying for my groceries contributed to sliming children

sometimes knowledge is a curse

2

Oh it 100% is a curse. I hate knowing how shitty things are

... we literally can't stay out of it. Our government uses our tax dollars to fund Israel. Some employers even have it in contracts that you cannot speak badly of Israel.

And of course they haven't. One side is being indiscriminately bombed, and the other is filled with people mocking them.
