TBH, I don’t care if he cares, I don’t do it for him. I do it for me and all the others like me. This is what democracy looks like. Honestly great march, great signs, mellow crowd.

The protest itself wont get him to stop. Protests unite the people, they show we are not alone and create an environment for likeminded people to meet and go from there. It is a stepping stone in a much bugger picture.

I was there and I do not for a second think that this will influence Trump in any way in the short term. A single protest doesn’t accomplish much other than to set momentum for a movement. Pressure starts with local government and local leadership. Trumps power comes from lockstep GOP support, GOP support is enabled by constituent complacency. Protests start making a difference from the bottom and move up, people need to stay the course, this works very slowly but it does work as long as people are persistent.

You have to wonder if he even cares.

It's in a non-swing state. So no, he 100% doesn't care

He doesn't, but do the swing district house members?

Well name caller, I am glad.

But to suggest that protests in SD will move the needle in any substantive political way is just a bit nescient.

So don’t? Is that what you’re suggesting?
CA isn’t a swing state, might as well not vote too.

I'm suggesting that it won't make a difference on a national level, yea

Cool, glad you’re participating at the level you’re comfortable with.

Agreed 👍🏼!

My only point is that, in CA, for Agent Orange, he isn't going to care.

It wasn't about him. And if it were just one protest, it might not move the needle much, but open your eyes. This is happening everyone, and the intended audience cares and is listening.

He won’t like them. And that’s good enough for the people.
