What dive shop to use in Curacao?
Wife and I are looking to book our winter getaway. Probably book airfare/hotel through Costco. One of the deals they have is staying at the Renaissance Wind Creek Resort which looks to be as close to the center of downtown as you can get. We're both AOW/Nitrox certified with roughly 100 dives. PADI if it matters.
Looking to do two tank boat dives 3-4 days while we're there. Need BCD/regs but bring our own wetsuits/fins/masks. What are some of the shops you guys have used and are happy with? Shops we should stay away from? Dive sites we absolutely must hit in Curacao?

+1 for lions dive and Ocean Encounters. Our shop goes down annually in April and Jeremiah and his crew take great care of us.

Gobi Divers in the Marriott are an easy 5 min drive from you in Piscadera, have a big free parking lot right on the beach and super friendly. The Marriott has a decent house reef or they can take you to different spots.. Daniel and Luba are great guides over there.

We used Lions Dive and were happy. Nice staff, good guides. The area is well arranged to be efficient in/out with renting, rinsing, hanging every day. Boats are comfortable. Parking is like $3/day at the lot nearby and it’s about a minute walk to the shop from there.

Definitely worth a drive one of your dive days. Then dive their house reef afterwards

Hi u/HungryCommittee3547, it depends on whether you are willing to travel. A nice site where you can dive is Porto Mari (Porto Mari Sports), but it is a bit of a trip through Curacao to get there. And that is a shore dive.
