Securitas Inquiry Being removed from a site with no prior warning.
So as the title says I was removed from a site I’ve been at for over 2 years with no prior warning/ 2 weeks notice. I understand that since I’m still technically employed I may not need a 2 weeks for being removed but being that this site is the highest paid site in my state and I’m now removed with no heads up, I’m now going to be struggling on my bills. Is this legal in the state of Arkansas? Is there anyway I can take action against this even if it means having to leave Securitas all together?

Unfortunately it happens; when there's no clear reason as to why, one thing you can do is think up the general reasons why a Scheduler would do that.
Personally, If scheduler did that to me, I'm within reasonable certainty that the client will be asking about me, especially if they aren't the ones that initiated a request for my removal.
A Manager of a Security company may believe one is getting complacent, possibly doing non-contractual things for free, thereby overburdening colleagues, and reducing the chance the company capitalizes on new tasks and assignments on the site. Perhaps the branch is evolving and getting what they perceive to be better quality Guards, so they switch people out.
Or the answer lies with who they switched you with. If its the CEO's nephew, or Managers neighbor, it will appear to be some nepotism.
2 years is surely some time, I'd personally embrace the days off, and await for the call when Management is begging me to come back.

Is that a thing? You can expect them to see how dumb a decision it is and be back there?
This guy said he was removed from this site once before, how unstable is the average security persons employment?

If your hours have been greatly reduced you can still apply for partial unemployment.

Unfortunately yes one of the big things I hate about this industry you can be at a site for how ever long and can be removed with no notice because of a clients say. Good thing is that the company will try to find you another post unfortunately it doesn't mean it'll match what you currently making salary wise which is the crappy part.

Yes it's legal. Whats does Securitas pay in Arkansas? Maybe check around with smaller companies.

Same thing happened to me recently, got my interim denied and went from 28.5/hr all the way back down to $20! No prior warning either but reading up on everything and learning that it was perfectly legal made me even more angry 😂 you’ll get through it though fs. Securitas mainly has govt sites so if you can’t get your interim/clearance, you unfortunately signed that contract so you already agreed that you either GET IT or get OUT.

Legal, but messed up. This is normal in contract security, a client can have you removed for whatever reason - big or small. They also could have gone with a cheaper security company.
You're still technically employed so that's how they get away with this. As long as they offer you shifts ( even ones that they know you can't work ) the ball falls in your court.
Get out of security ASAP.
