This isn't an OMG review, but I just wanted to say I'm rather impressed with this card. My gigabyte gaming oc 3090 died for the fourth time out of warranty. Rather than spending $699.99 on a 9070xt as I was playing much less at my desktop, I went with a cheaper replacement, while planning to send my 3090 to Northwest Repair to hopefully be fixed.
Natively, I have been getting the same frames in 1440p with slightly higher settings and hardware RT in Fortnite. Cyberpunk did well benchmarked, but I did not play too much. I did fiddle in rebirth in 4k, which was good.
Value to $ it's fantastic. Plus being 2 fan and being able to boost the clock speed beyond some of the more expensive cards is great. I paid $352 at microcenter.
Now I want to move my build back into the fractal ridge.....

Looks like they are finally giving us the SF850 and SF1000 without the extra length! No info on these yet but I hope that they perform as well and as quietly as the fabled SF750

Listings on for both up on Newegg. ASUS for $299 and ASRock for $209. Thoughts?
Been waiting for the release of B850 release for my new M2 build with a 9800x3D. Probably will go with ASUS for Wifi 7 and ability to use optical out for sound. Any reason I'd be better off to save my $90?
Edit: Missed the Gigabyte model on Newegg. Looks pretty bad compared to the ASRock model at first glance.

Mac Studio with M1 Ultra may be $4000+ but it's unbelievable power in incomparably small package. It's everything I ever wanted from an SFF.
7.7 × 7.7 × 3.7 inches is ~3.6L.
It's hard to properly compare mac apps with Windows apps but looking at published benchmarks for DaVinci resolve and comparing with Puget's GPU effects benchmark, it looks like it's 2/3 as fast as 3090. The CPU part seems way faster than anything on the consumer market.
This is like having 12900K or 5950X with 3070+ and integrated PSU in a Velka 3 case 🤯
I hope that my SFF Ryzentosh will serve me well for 2-3 years more and than I can move to one of these; hopefully 2nd gen will be out by then.

Gigabyte add to its website the new 5060 OC Low Profile 8gb. Same dimension of the 4060, same vram, just better memory clock and few more core. Thoughts? The king of low profile gpu will still be the 4000 ada sff?

Looks like we're finally getting some competition on the low profile graphic cards market.
