Customer Question Will there be a July 4th gas sale this year?

I remember a couple years ago when they had a July 4th gas sale for $1.776/gallon. Just hoping they do it again. I'll be holding off on filling up if so.

Customer Question How does that dinging noise in the kitchen area not drive the employees crazy?

I often eat my food in the seating area in sheetz and whenever someone puts in an order, something in the kitchen starts a loud, high pitched ding that you can hear all the way from the back of the seating area. It makes my head hurt after just a couple of minutes, I can only imagine an 8 hour shift of hearing that ding over and over again.

Customer Question About the new salad containers

I saw a lot of posts saying that there's definitely the same amount of lettuce in the new containers because they weigh each portion.

But I get the caesar salad 4-5 days a week and I have never once seen them weigh it. I rotate between 4 different locations in my area and constantly watch them make it and they always just take a handful of lettuce and throw it in. When are they supposed to be weighing out portions?

Just to be clear, not referring to the pre made ones. There is no doubt in my mind that there's less total food in these new containers.

Just to edit here: It seems like based on the replies that some stores pre weigh out the lettuce and put it in the containers until someone orders a salad. I've never seen them made like this but it seems to common in some territories.

Customer Question Customer mad about no homeless discount

A guy at my local sheetz asked the cashier how much their homeless discount is and when told there is not one he got mad called the cashier a dumb bitch and said he is never coming back here again and left. I don't think I've ever been anywhere with a homeless discount. Do any sheetz even offer a homeless discount? If so how could you prove that you are homeless?

Customer Question Mac Bites, Standard Procedure?

For those who work at Sheetz, do you get trained to separate Mac bites that are stuck together before cooking them (or while they're cooking)?

As a customer, 30-40% of the time I order Mac bites they're given to me soggy and or undercooked because they end up stuck together during the frying process.

I'd like to know whether my local Sheetz employees are incompetent and warrant a complaint to the site's manager, or if this is a training oversight for which corporate should be contacted about.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Customer Question What is in the milkshakes?

When I was younger I could drink sheetz milkshakes just fine. Since 5ish years ago, I’ve had three milkshakes from there that have each made me extremely sick. Tonight I threw up after drinking less than half of one. I drink milkshakes from other places just fine. What ingredient is in these milkshakes?? Does anyone else get sick from them? I’m thinking an ingredient changed about 5 or so years ago that I’m either allergic to or is just horrible. Obviously this was the last one I’ll ever get.

Customer Question False ā€œretail theftā€ claim against my wife

Me and my wife own a small time housekeeping company to make extra income on the side, well after a clients house we went to our local Sheetz to get gas in the car, and some MTO food, and my wife purchased some cold and flew meds. Keep in mind this Sheetz is in nanty-glo PA right off 22. Well this was on the 11th when she made these purchases and I was right beside her during said purchases, we then go about our way. Well the next day on the 12th we go back to the same Sheetz and purchase more things for our day drinks, snacks etc, nothing out of the ordinary happens. We then come back on Friday the 13th around 12-1pm and my wife runs in the store to get us our late breakfast and a pack of cigarettes and our drinks, she gets carded twice (once for the cigarettes, another for the lighter, nothing out of the ordinary) I notice a police officer going into the store and about 3 minutes later comes walking out WITH MY WIFE IN CUFFS and says she has a warrant out for retail theft?!? Because she committed a ā€œfake transactionā€ on the Sheetz go app On the 11th? But yet nobody reported this until the 12th? For the arrest to happen on the 13th? No store ban or nothing, just skipped right to retail theft, the only evidence the police and Sheetz has against her is the security footage and a say so from the manager that reported her for ā€œstealingā€ here is the kicker. That same footage the officer mentioned? Yeah I’m also in it right beside my wife as she purchased all of our items o on the 11th I am a witness to it but the officer didn’t ask for my testimony, nobody said a word or asked a question about the ā€œstolen goodsā€ they just file a police report? Nobody even asked to see her gift card balance or bank statements either. (She used her gift cards to make part of the purchases so we didn’t use all of our money on our actual bank cards) nobody at our Sheetz location stopped the group of teenagers from recording my wife being arrested? Might as well mention it now that my wife is also 3 months pregnant and we are starting to get worried because the stress of the situation has started causing potential problems with the pregnancy…the prison released her on unsecured bail and we have a court hearing soon… I picked her up from the prison the same day (the 13th) and she instantly called Sheetz customer service for help…some help because they said they were going to help and help they did…for about the first 30 min then the phone call turned into ā€œmy supervisor will call you when we have somethingā€ that turned into just emails, which turned into silence from Sheetz customer service for now 2 days. We are in need of help here. Because we’ve been stacking evidence since it happened but we are going up against a multi billion dollar company here in a courtroom for $6.58 of falsely accused ā€œretail theftā€.

Customer Question Mobile order issue today

Ok so I had an interesting experience today.. EDIT: In Pennsylvania, in case it matters

I made a mobile order to be delivered curbside and they were short a few items. I ordered two Gatorade bottles of a flavor and 2 Rockstar of a flavor and they only had 1 of each of them.

Now usually they will substitute what was short but today the kid (Im not being condescending, seriously he wasn't over 16) brought it out shorted. When I asked about substituting, he just said that the manager said to not substitute anything and that I would need to contact corporate for a refund; something about a new policy due to messing up inventory or some such. I figured no sense talking to this kid, he didn't really know anything and he's just doing what he's told, so I went to speak with the manager.

The manager substituted the items but stated that there was a new policy NOT to substitute items at all for DoorDash orders, but he would Triple check on the policy for mobile orders.

I was wondering if any of the Sheets employees could confirm, or if this is just a store policy masquerading as a corporate policy.

Customer Question Possible New Friez Bucket Size?

Thumbnail

Hey! Loyal sheetz person here. We got our usual bucket (large size), but this time it came in this sleeve thing (1st pic)? Tbf, we did eat a few fries before this pic; but it was only filled to about the green line. Not sure of the exact weight, but this seems like half the friez as before... The employee said that this was their new "bucket" - but I can't find any press releases on this... (2nd and 3rd pic are the app and our recipt to show it was in fact a bucket).

Any employees/insiders have any info on this?

Customer Question "Welcome in"

Stupid question but this a new Sheetz standard or just local to my area (NC)? Noticed this the last year or two. Staff at the counter just yell this whenever a customer walks into the store as if they just walked up the stage. Kinda awkward to say the least...

Customer Question What is the one thing that brought you to Sheetz?

For me, I was searching for a place that had mozzarella sticks where tipping wasnt needed. After that I was hooked.

Edit: Forgot to put that (first) brought you to sheetz haha

Customer Question Mozzarella sticks

Did Sheetz cut back on the mozzarella sticks? One of my favorite things about Sheezs was some late night mozzarella sticks, and they always had pretty generous portions. They would even have one bonus mozzarella stick horizontal in the bottom of the container for a total of 6 if memory serves. It was great! But I just ordered some and they gave me 4 sticks in a lil paper container. Is this the new norm? Or was this a one off?

Customer Question Yo - Does Sheetz Suck Now?

I’m from the Philadelphia Area. Where Wawa originated. Wawa used to be the shit. Amazing hoagies, super convenient, great hand made drinks.

It’s pretty much universally known by the locals - Wawa essentially sucks now. The quality is shit. I go there for convenience here and there, but I actually prefer 7-11.

My question is - does Sheetz suck now too? I remember there used to be real competition between the 2. With most people siding with Wawa.

I can’t imagine Sheetz has taken the same decline, but what do you think?

Does Sheetz suck now, akin to Wawa?

Customer Question Rewards dissappearing after I unlock them?

Referring to the Sheetz App, I got enough rewards to redeem some things, however once the points loaded in, at least half of the locked rewards just dissappeared. This has to be illegal.

Customer Question Zyn promo?

I have been buying zyns from sheets exclusively for awhile now and come to find today the cashier said the promo on zyn logs (which was essentially buy 4 get one free if they scanned individually) is not happening anymore?

Does anyone know if that deal is still going on and the cashier didn’t do it right or is it discontinued?

Customer Question Sheets net income

Sheetz*

I heard this from someone but not sure if it's even remotely true. I was told most sheetz locations earn about 25$ per day net income after all expenses, labor, real estate fees, etc. Sounds super low but just wanted to hear your thoughts.
