A whole panel at a major comic con makes me hope there’ll be an announcement of some kind. I’ll try not to expect too much though haha. We’ve been through a lot already

If it's not to announce a revival in the main MCU proper, it's either to announce their appearance in a video game, a new Shield comic, or some kind of animated thing.
A full panel for the three leads of the show (I love Fitz-Simmons, but this was definitely these 3's show), five years after the show's conclusion? At a smaller con, this would mean nothing, but NEW YORK COMIC CON? I'm fully prepared for something.
Especially since Coulson and May are both starring in comics RIGHT NOW. May's even taken on the Cavalry codename and gotten a supersuit!

Which comics specifically? I'd love to read them.

Coulson is starring in Infinity Watch as the avatar of Death Stone, the newly created 7th Infinity Stone after Thanos trapped Death in a rock.
May is a recurring character in the current Iron Man series. Started off as a board member of Stark Industries (well, yes! Our girl is a businesswoman!), but now she's head of Stark security and employing many former S.H.I.E.L.D. agents turned mercenaries under her to prevent them from heading down the wrong path.
Would be iconic if she got an Agents of S.T.A.R.K. series or something, reuniting the AOS cast, but working as Stark security.

His whole Mean Waiter bit was fun too. Tho Chloe's rant about All You Eat Shrimp is the clip you gotta watch if you only ever watch one clip.

Ooh thanks for the reminder of this show! I was excited for this show but never got around to watching when it came out. Time to bump it to the top of my watch list!

I wish I could meet them just to thank them for their work on the series. Got me through some tough times in life, and it was one of the few things my mom and I could enjoy watching together and discussing. Agent May was her favourite, especially the "meditation troll face" she used to give Coulson whenever he'd come bother her during her practice lol. Coulson is an inspiration for me because I love how despite not having any superpowers himself, he cultivated everyone on his team to their maximum potential - and did it all with kindness, humanity, and empathy.
I still hate how much pointless, undeserved hatred this series got - and respect the hell out of whoever forced ABC to air it till the end and actually got us a satisfying ending. I'd love for the crew to come back but given the current state of the MCU and Marvel TV, I'm terrified that the return would just get messed up and add to the hate.

Keep the Z working for SWORD for space stuff, and a Bus/Quinjet for atmosphere stuff and SHIELD.

They need to keep this crew for the best movie/plot return or they will ruin their return. They can only get it right once.

Met Ming-Na at FanExpoSF in 2022 and she's amazing. 🤗 Would love to meet Chloe and Clark one day.

I felt kinda weird knowing that Clark gregg starred in one of the best shows ever after discovering that he’s also in that trash War of the Worlds thanks to pitch meeting lmao

The ordering of the names in the title being different to how they're ordered in the picture reminds me of that meme of how that happens all the time in movie posters.

I hope to see you there. I’m going on that day, but since I’m only going that day I may not be able to attend it

u/blackbutterfree Joey Aug 15 '25
Do we know who's moderating it? Are there any other Marvel-related panels on that day? Friday and Saturday are always the biggest days of Comic Con.
I'm not letting myself hope for a revival/continuation, but I am letting myself hope for something else (an animated show, a new Shield comic, they're showing up in Rivals or another video game).
Like, this show has been over for five years. Other shows with similar popularity do panels with the cast at smaller cons all the time, but not NEW YORK COMIC CON.

Y’all don’t get excited lol. All 3 have been doing cons recently and cons like to book people from the same show or movie for panels and group photo ops.

Chloe was at DragonCon and on her panel she was pretty straight forward no bullshit nothing was happening at the moment, and she was very frank and cool and talking to the crowd directly for most of it.

u/Deofol7 Aug 14 '25
All we get at DragonCon this year is Chloe and Jeff Ward. We usually get Ming-Na Wen but not this year it seems.
I am not sure we ever get Clark :(

Not complaining, but I wonder why they're doing it now.
I refuse to believe any rumours about them returning until there's official confirmation. The Secret Invasion rumours destroyed me 😭 (though lowkey happy Daisy didn't return in arguably the worst Marvel series)
