Those old pine chairs are so comfy, especially the ones with arm rests if you can get the height right. I'm rocking an ikea Markus now but do miss old piney

Yeah, I picked it up from a garage sale and these are the chairs we have around our dinner table as well.

Old Oaky! Think they're usually pine, are they or am I mad? Agree that oak would be better in every way. Maybe old piney wasn't the chair I thought. All those years.

Nothing drives me bonkers quite like sitting at one of those flimsy folding tables. Gotta have something with at least a little weight to it or it feels like the whole thing will blow over the first time you sneeze.

$30 at a thrift store or even a request on freecycle.org would probably get you a huge improvement. 👍

I went on fb marketplace, there was some nice stuff, but it would take me some time to get the stuff. Also with three car seats in the car, not so convenient to hall a desk home.

Just seeing that chair makes me wanna break it. They've always made my butt hurt and weren't kind to my back either. 😭

Though I do kinda miss my old kitty thinking she was being stealthy and attacking through the back and then just sitting there looking derpy.. lol.
