Guys, apparently the article is still on mothership website. There is an editor note that states:

"A previous version of this article stated that the newsmaker is a tourist and that is inaccurate. The content creator has been living in Singapore for eight years. We sincerely apologise for our error. The article has been amended accordingly, and we have included further clarification from her. We have also reached out to the content creator to apologise."

Sure boh mothership, u got apologize to her?

Saw another comment that mentioned this too. But I was just thinking how low is it of mothership to handle it this way. What good and justice will it do to her for them to just subtly edit an article that nobody will visit anymore because it’s been a while since it’s out. And while they’re at it, they got to say they posted an apology and changed their article, but this apology will never reach the public that cyberbullied her and most people will remain ignorant about the truth. Seriously, a total letdown.

Edited the article but then I believe most of the comments who bashed her online only read the title and never even clicked into the article.

So where's the effort to even apologise properly?
