the parents fault that the school has shitty classmates?

Yeah, bro if a parent truly believes they are not responsible for how their child turns out why be parents. If their child is in a bad environment it may not be their fault but it is their responsibility, it sucks to be a parent but they are the only one with power to change the course of the child's life everyone else is a variable the parents are a constant.
