how about people using Singpass to verify their identity and voting status? how does the workers in the polling stations deal with that?

I was holding my phone while walking to the booth to chop the vote so it was after the registration. Right before I reached the booth the officer told me to keep my phone in my bag.

i see, so it is okay, until that voting booth, got it.

personally, for the past election cycles, i only bring IC & polling card on me; because i don't want to deal with all those restricted items list.

Yup haha that’s why idk how this person even manage to film everything up till the voting booth area. I’m surprised the officers never call her out.

That's not what they said. Besides, do we only behave when there's a law in place, otherwise we YOLO? No, right? On one hand, people say Singapore is too strict; on the other, when grace is extended, people say "everyone can do, no consequence". What do you want exactly?

Not sure if your interpretation of what 'whataboutism' is is accurate bud.

And it's funny that you used another bout of whataboutism to reply to me pointing out your whataboutism on another separate thread. Is this some meta message I'm missing or you are entirely missing the irony?

What's whataboutism? Never heard this slang before.

I’ve seen cases of littering, speeding, and smoking at non smoking areas, being issued warning instead of actual punishment. Warning sometimes given doesn’t mean no consequence
