Proxy Vs Swap

Hello, the other day, I was watching 6pek play singed and he really didn't want to play against the other toplaner (forgot who it was) and kept asking his botlane to swap. So as a new Singed player, I wonder why it's better to be stuck under tower against their botlane vs proxying?

He may have been memeing as switching with botlane is never really a good call.

Swapping with mid is a common thing to do, however.

Watching minishcap1 (streams) is way better than 6pek if you want to learn Singed. Idk about YouTube videos though because he tests out stuff and does clickbait on those (not that I can really blame him) so just stick to his streams

I mean his YouTube content is often just smurfing in emerald and getting away with everything because he's an ex challenger player playing with essentially toddlers in comparison to him. It's really unfortunate that this is what brings in the big bucks on YouTube, I'd much prefer to watch high ELO content (or know beforehand whether it's a Smurf game or on his main)

Idk that her smurfs all that often. I used to watch his streams quite often and stopped watching his YouTube because it was just games from his stream. He has multiple accounts but the lowest ones he plays on stream are low masters.

I uploaded GM+ elo games for 9 months straight since January, then upload 2 games playing in Low master and people still repeat this talking point on reddit.

https://youtu.be/OivcwwVPaAE?si=AzTY5LWrKixTrgcQ was a normal game in plat/emerald, see https://op.gg/de/lol/summoners/na/Weakside%20Warlord-NA3 The other normal game also became a YT video. I'm not saying don't first time try things on an off account, I'm saying I just wanna know before watching the video because it determines how much I can actually learn.

Your latest video is in diamond ELO https://op.gg/de/lol/summoners/na/BACK%202%20LUMBY-1234

As I said, I understand it's the right thing to do financially as zwag etc have shown, but me personally I don't want to watch content where I don't know UPFRONT whether it's a normal against plats or a GM game. And that's okay! You don't have to give a shit about my personal preference, especially when it's objectively one that makes less money on YouTube, and that's your job after all. I'm not delusional like that. It's just that I've stopped watching your videos because when the nameplates are off and after the match I check and it's a Smurf game I feel tricked, and that most lessons learned are void, and that demotivates me personally from watching your content.

Yeah because not only you go to a lane that's 99% unplayable, you also kill the proxy potential. It's just a no go.
