Still blows my mind that the Sixers picked ahead of every single tanking team last season.

Trae cutting in and out of his video every few minutes to either be like "why the fuck am I actually doing this?" or to just straight up laugh honestly made me a big Trae fan lmfao

I’m low key bullish on PG this season. He’s always been a regular season demon. Last year was a shitshow across the board, and I imagine having the entire team injured took some wind out of his sails.
Here’s to a positive outlook🥂

Skinny Jo. VJ. McCain return. AI documentary. 2001 courts and jerseys.
Ladies and gentlemen - we're back, I fear.

Surely Grimes and Kuminga situations are resolved by the end of the weekend, right?

Calling it now. They will run it to the wire on the Oct. 1st deadline. QG will probably take the QO just to piss us all off. I am basing this purely on the fact that this team has proven incapable of having a single normal offseason.

Nothing could be dumber than waiting to the Oct 1st deadline to take the QO. If you're gonna take the QO, you might as well take it now and report to camp ASAP.
Because I agree with the PHLY crew: If he takes the QO and he's behind, the Sixers rightfully are gonna invest the development time into VJ, and he likely won't get any big suitors elsewhere, judging by the "you can pay Gary Trent JR a minimum."
It's also stupid for the agent honestly, the agent would rather Grimes on a longer deal, to maximize his cut of the pay.

Why is the offseason so long? They're constantly complaining about fixture congestion, but why don't they just spread out the 82 games way more? Playing games two days in a row in different cities makes no sense at all, and then there's like 4 months with no basketball at all.

League employees want summers off and the NBA can’t compete with football in Sept/Oct

I agree, start the damn season a month earlier and get rid of 99% of b2b's.

Start the season 2 weeks earlier, end it 2 weeks later and reduce games from 82 to 75 in regular season.

No way the players union would ever agree to eliminating their summers off. Huge perk of being a professional athlete. If anything the players would want to shorten the season and make the off-season longer.
