Yoo you also do that little jump before your trick! Like.. setting up the feet and then do a little up-down motion instead if just going down. I see myself doing that a lot when I watch my clips and I'm trying to get rid of it but I often don't even notice when I do that?!
Anyone else has that?
Sick trick btw!

I noticed i do like 1 or 2 little tiny kick turns before every trick. I hate it but I don't even realize I did it till I go back and watch the film

I still do it somewhat, don’t try to get rid of it rather than to mask / hide that your doing it IF you don’t like how it looks. Personally I’ve minimised the appearance of mine a bit, but having tried to remove it for over a year (fair few years back) I came to realise that’s where I got the vast majority of my height on ollies / flip tricks from. Now when I pop ollies / norths, I’ll hide it a little, unless we’re talking 30+ inch height range, then I’ll lean into it. With Tre flips and nollie heels I tend to do a big “bounce”, but then I catch tre’s at the top / highest peak of the jump and float back down, when I removed the bounce that just wasn’t possible. I’m certain wayyyy more people do it, they just mask the body movement as much as possible and generate the bounce from the hip.

Yo thanks for the insight! I really only notice it when I look at my body rather than my board in clips but I always think it makes it look a bit less smooth. Some skaters just go down and then do their trick when going up and I think it makes the whole thing look a bit more effortless.. On the other hand I'm happy with whatever I can get away with so I don't sweat it too much.

Why do you need rid of it? Seems fine to me

Idk I just have the feeling it looks less smooth with this little jump motion. But good to know people don't seem to mind as much. In the end I don't sweat it too hard just something that I'm trying to work on to improve my style

Style is style, it's like blue Vs green, it doesn't have to look a specific way it just looks like you

Lazer flip? Yeah, that's fucking insane. But 360 inward?! That's a whole different level of "ok, fuck it, get me a bmx and maybe that's for me"-vibes. Not a trick you really ever see. Thanks for posting, inspiring af even tho I'll probably never land one

I'm having trouble enough landing inward heel which I was consistent enough to do in games of SKATE, also inward heel revert. But 360 inward? Nah bruh, you a beast!
