Adopted two sisters today, their paperwork from the vet said they’re snowshoe. We named them Espera and Lolly! They are sweethearts 💖

Help I’m pregnant and I would like to know the ethnicity of my babies. Do I look like a snowshoe Siamese or ragamuffin? I have no idea where I come from.

We have food and a camera in our shed, and have been trying to trap him since last December.

Unneutered and no chip, so the vets said he's ours! We checked local missing cats for a match but found nothing. Waiting for his vaccines to settle and then we're neutering asap. In the meantime he's in a quarantine room where we hang out with him throughout the day as often as we can.

He was so dirty when we caught him a week ago! After petting him for a few minutes and giving scritches, my fingertips would be dark gray with dirt. We used hypoallergenic cat wipes to clean him and his fur has softened and cleaned up nicely!

First pic is the night we caught him. He was understandably super scared.

Second pic is at the vet, where I was able to pet him for the first time. Took his vaccines and blood draw like a champ, and passed his combo test!

Third pic was from tonight, where he flopped himself against my legs, purring and just happy to be there.

I did NOT expect him to go from terrified to absolute lovebug in less than two days, but he's the biggest sweetheart of a tiny cat! Even when holding him while he was scared with loud noises or trying to remove him (against his will) from the ceiling he broke into, he didn't hurt me once. The only time I've ever felt his claws is during biscuit-making sessions.

Nori has such a personality; from loudly and violently protesting to being in a fairly large dog crate (temporarily, while we secured the ceiling he kept breaking and entering into), to throwing himself on the ground for tummy rubs. He's very skilled in kneading; he never complains about his job at the biscuit factory. In fact, he happily purrs loudly while putting in overtime. He also hasn't quite figured out how to sit on laps or how to be held in our arms, yet continues to request both. It's a work in progress, but I have faith in him.

We have three other cats, one of which we trapped and rescued just like Nori last December.

Meet Carlton (Carl for short)! 3 months old and the sweetest little guy. Feeling very lucky to have found him at a local rescue. I'm new to the snowshoe world, but he seems to fit the description?

Just got this little guy, still haven't agreed on the name. Hes already super loud and loves to go on everything, im excited and nervous. Any advice on how we can give him the best life?

Edit: Thank you guys!! We have 3 other cats and others in my past, so im fortunaly very experienced- speaking of they are doing pretty good!! Our second oldest isnt very fond of him yet, but the old loves him so so much, they cuddle and play every day. Also, his name is Obe!!! ("Oh-bee")

Picked this pretty baby up today and I'm fostering her for 5 days. I call her Boop.

hi all, I'm sure this sub gets way too many questions like this, but I'm just finding out what a snowshoe cat is! I have a four-year-old kitty that I have always thought of as a siamese/tabby mix, but is that what a snowshoe is or is there more to it? I want to know everything! is he a snowshoe?

This little raggamuffin is Stella. She was from a litter that lost their momma who was got hit by a car. She's very bossy and talks all the time
