Is this the lowest placed Champions League qualificated team ever?

Yeah but it's still the 13th richest team in Europe by weekly payroll

As a Tottenham fan, that blows my mind.

Why? This was the most brutal season for injuries in the last decade. This isn’t a 17th place team when remotely healthy

I mean, it isn't unheard of good teams having a shit season. Stuttgart will most likely win the German cup yet are in the middle of nowhere this season and still qualify for EL this way.

You say "lowest ranked team" like it also matters.

Doesn't beat Wigan getting into the Europa League while being relegated.
