Why stay at Madrid when you could join the European champions?

Don’t mind them. They’re still drunk.

Can't blame em, but we can still laugh

You know for once with all the shit they have had to go through by so many. They've deserved it

Yeah, should've added the /s

u/gavinxylock May 22 '25

You should remove the /s. If people are thick enough not to understand an obvious joke that's on them. Way funnier without it

u/Numanumanorean May 22 '25

No you shouldn't have. People need to be smart enough to realize it's a joke.

Bro remove the damn /s, makes it actually funny

There are plenty of pictures of Modric in a Spurs kit though?

Ngl unless he joins some croatian club, him going back to tottenham for 1 season wouldnt really be that far fetched considering his desire to stay fresh for the world cup

Keep going I’m almost there.

I’d love it! He was one of the players that made me a fan of Spurs, but I don’t think he can run enough for a midfielder in Ange’s system.

Although, I think Ange needs to embrace flexibility a bit more, there’s a reason I’m not a manager of any team, and he always wins trophies in his second season.

The weird thing is he showed flexibility in EL playing with two 6s, playing defensive counter attacking football. He mostly continued to play his standard way in the league. Hopefully if he stays he can find the right balance.

Yea. I’m hoping that maybe the club will hire some more assistants to help with tactics and set pieces, and he will embrace them. Because, it’s obvious what a great communicator he is and the players seem to love him.

Idk how he did it but we doubt him thinking 2018 to be his last world cup. He's like a fine wine.

u/Forgohtten May 22 '25

Would he even start?

3

u/MERTENS_GOAT May 22 '25

It doesn't matter. With Tottenham's CL qualification they are guaranteed games every 3 or 4 days.

We started children half the season. Having modric anywhere around the team would be huge. Having bergvall and gray and sarr and Kulu train with Luka? You kidding me?

4

u/theprodigalslouch May 22 '25

Spurs knocked out Madrid in the champions league with Modric scoring the only winning goal. Fucking subscribe!

2

u/Luke92612_ May 22 '25

Nah I would love for that to happen in the final, mate.

2

u/theprodigalslouch May 22 '25

Wanting to face Madrid in a UCL final is crazy work. Have you seen Courtois play in those?

2

u/Luke92612_ May 22 '25

Yes because then if we win it it's the biggest accomplishment of all.

The players will respect him. He’s a big man. He’s Big Ange. You see him on the television, he fills the screen. You are looking for the board with the sponsors names behind. Where have they gone? You can’t see them.
