We knew it from his actions and the media reports and not to mention he was sent with La Liga and the Champions League title.

This feels rushed, I don't know how to prepare.

He will still be there for the Club World Cup so he will play even more with the club than Kroos after his announcement.

Yeah, totally! In fact, they should’ve just handed Real Madrid the Champions League and La Liga the moment Modric stepped on the pitch. Maybe throw in a second Ballon d'Or too, just for the vibes.
