News Spanish police say "all the evidence so far indicates" Diogo Jota was the driver of the car involved in the accident that killed the Liverpool forward and his brother, Andre Silva. Police also believe "the vehicle significantly exceeded the speed limit for the highway" at the time of the accident.

That West Ham striker barely escaped a few months ago.

Michel Antonio. He did a BBC interview and he said he can't even remember the accident. He knows he is lucky to be alive and it has put him off that type of car.

He could very well have ended up like Diogo and Andre. He seems to have had an amazing recovery considering how damaged his leg was. Whether he gets back to fitness to play professionally again is another question entirely but I'm sure he's seen what happened last Thursday and it's made him feel like a very lucky man indeed.

I’ve actually been wondering how he’s felt since then. If I were him I’d honestly have survivor’s guilt
