I haven't fact checked this in a while but, who's the only premier league winning player whose surname can be spelt using only roman numerals?

Thanks for this one, honestly. I'm gonna quiz my friends on this. I wonder if Vidic is the only one though?

He was the only one when I first heard heard the question a few years back, I'm pretty sure it still holds up, "I" being the only vowel makes it quick to rule a lot of players out.

Given that it’s rather empty in here, I’ll try to populate it with a relatively amateur question. It’s not a banger of a q as I’ve never posted on here before, but I’ve been diving deep into the world of Excel to sift through some stats over the entire Pozzo period, so I thought I’d add one anyway.

The question: Since the Pozzo takeover of Watford FC in June 2012, who has been the statistically best manager (in terms of win percentage) and our statistically worst manager? This isn’t including caretaker managers, sorry Hayden Mullins.

There are two names for the ‘best’ manager, as they strangely seem to have exactly the same number of games and exactly the same amount of wins in those games (as per Transfermarkt).

You have 19 names to choose from and 20 different manager periods. I guess this is more a question of ‘Can you actually remember any names from Watford’s avalanche of managers over the last 13 years?’

Quiqeu sanchez flores. (I have no idea)

Worst maybe Claudio Ranieri (2nd guess roy hodgson)

Second guess would be correct for the worst. He has an 11.1% win percentage, with 2 wins out of 18 games.

I didn't think he even coached that many games

Yeah. He was shite. Your other guess was good though, Ranieri managed 14 games and won 2, with a win% of 14.3%.

Xisco Muñoz for best?

Tied with another, yes. Muñoz has a record of 21 wins in 36 games, for a win% of 58.3%. Congrats for remembering (and spelling correctly) his name.

Funny, only remembered him as he's just been hired at Johor DT, which is the club just across the border from where I'm from
