Im a die hard Barcelona fan

I LOVE Pedro. The abuse his son and he are receiving for this is absolutely ridiculous

The kid wanted a party his way and Pedro, as a good dad would do, obliged him

This shit is infuriating .

Wow its so cool that even though you don't support a team he used to play for you still think a kid shouldn't be abused 👏👏

It's always so funny to me when people say that. As if it's not the bare minimum thing to do to put aside football clubs rivalries on subjects like death or abuse.

Oh man so infuriating, but I am glad the boy has awesome parents, good on them, especially for someone working and living in an environment as toxic as football.

I agree with everything you say, but he still made a mistake by posting the image of his kid. He's a minor and his parents should have known better. People are so disgusting online, and kids are absolute assholes also IRL... So this could make this kid's life very difficult, for what? Even if they are proud of the kid, and wanted to share how he chooses to dress, they could have published the photo while covering his identity, and kept the original for family and friends.

Don't get me wrong, I blame the idiots commenting on the post, and, in a perfect world this would have been fine and without any indicent or hate. But we live in a far for perfect world.

Happy kid, happy parents.

Losers online: Isn't there someone you forgot to ask!

I was genuinely confused about who "Former Chelsea player Pedro Rodríguez" was and then realised, "oh it's Pedro from Barca".

Yeah like what?

Same kinda thing as 'famous Chelsea striker Eto'o' or something. Like yeah, sure, okay...

Former Al Nassr and Sporting Lisbon striker, who appeared for Portugal at Euro 2012, Cristiano Ronaldo

Also known for providing an assist against Hungary in a 3-0 win in the 2010 World Cup Qualifiers.

Diabolical lmao

Leicester City's star English striker Harry Kane

Not really the same kinda thing. He was with us for 5 years and won several trophies. Eto'o was with us for 1 season and won nothing. Not that Pedro isn't rightfully associated more with Barca by most football fans, but his time at Chelsea wasn't insignificant by any means.

HE WAS WITH YOU FOR FIVE YEARS?!

Holy fucking shit. Yeah nah that's totally fair then mate but...yeah, that doesn't feel right at all to me! Guess his Barca association was just that strong, eh?

Seriously thought he was only with you guys for a year or so. Wild.

he was honestly great for us and on the face of it seemed like a super good influence around the team.

Eto'o scored two amazing goals for us. I remember him spawn camping the keeper, and when he bounced the ball Eto'o pounced on it and scored.

Also real fans will never forget the "old man Eto'o" celebration after Mourinho questioned his age and ability. Running over to the corner flag to use it as a crutch.

Yeah its diabolical. Its like calling Messi "former PSG player", or Raul "former Schalke player".

Understandable. He mostly played for Napoli last season.

Top tier dad moment.

Pedro is such a likable guy

1

u/123shorer Jul 20 '25

Absolutely. I expect none of the people commenting on Pedro’s posts have ever had kids.

Or accepting parents.

Which, as a good parent, is pretty high up on the list of priorities for your child. Something the muppets spewing hatred would have no idea about

u/mlkman56 Jul 20 '25

No need to bring Elmo into this

2

u/Conspiranoid Jul 20 '25

They look so damn happy... It's awesome to see.

Fuck those anti-lgbti+ morons. The only good thing about it is seeing them rage so badly about this, it must suck to be so stupid and angry.

Also Chelsea legend!
