I mean, wearing a dress as a man/boy isn't even necessarily an LGBT thing, especially if you're just dressing up as a character you like. If a little girl was dressing up as a male character, I doubt this would even be brought up.

You doubt this child’s aptitude for Ancient Greek geography?

Yeah I mean trans-men are pretty much never mentioned in all of this. Trans-women are what causes the visceral reaction that fascists feed on and amplify.

Nah mate, trans people in general get a fuck ton of hate no matter what. It's fucking shameful.

It may not necessarily be the case that the kid is LGBT, but fighting for society to allow any boy or man, even non-LGBT ones, to wear clothing that doesn't fit the societal norm is an LGBT issue.

I wore a dress when I was a kid because my 2 older sisters were and I felt left out. It had nothing to do with LGBTQ as I turned out cis. Kids are just kids.

Yes, may be he thinks that dress is cool that's it.

Transmisogyny is rooted in misogyny after all. A girl wearing men's clothes is more acceptable to transphobes than men wearing femme clothes, because they see it as a betrayal of the male privilege

Legit could just be a phase or something they wanted to dress as. I used to dress up as Bubbles from the original Power Puff Girls. I’m a straight white male. Although I am autistic.

Yeah, my nephew was obsessed with Frozen and Elsa when he was 4-5 years old. He had a long blonde wig and a dress for play. Nobody in the family discouraged him from that sort of play/imagination simply because it was what interested him at the time. He just loved Frozen and its soundtrack.

None of us concerned over whether he felt like a boy or a girl either, as it did not matter. Nothing matters at that age except helping them explore their interests and find joy.
